Missing song from Wily Beast and Weakest Creature?

If you extract the files from Wily Beast and Weakest Creature, you can find the tracks’ descriptions in a file called musiccmt.txt.

Each song has a corresponding bgm/th17_xx number as follows:

bgm/th17_01 - 物言わぬ獣の霊

bgm/th17_03 - 地蔵だけが知る哀嘆

bgm/th17_04 - ジェリーストーン

bgm/th17_05 - ロストリバー

bgm/th17_06 - 石の赤子と水中の牛

As you can see, nothing is associated with bgm/th17_02, I wonder if it's a scrapped song?

The game version of the Comiket release of Wily Beast and Weakest Creature (the one which has “夏コミ版” near it) was written as ver 1.00 in the readme.txt of ver. 1.00a, but it was corrected to ver 1.00a in the readme.txt of ver. 1.00b

Eika’s name was not only changed inside the game, but also in the omake.txt from the full version of Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.

It seems that a symbol from Marisa’s description was changed in the omake.txt from the full version of Wily Beast and Weakest Creature:

trial: いつも以上の力が出すことが出来る

full: いつも以上の力を出すことが出来る

Lines and resolutions

Some vertical lines appear inside the speech bubble in Wily Beast and Weakest Creature. I’ve noticed they appear at 640x480 and 960x720 resolution and for the dialogue lines told by the enemy in middle of screen. They do not appear at 1280x960.

Please note that these are screenshots from window mode, not fullscreen. I cannot run the games in fullscreen mode, because at the moment my computer is kinda garbage.

They appear not only for Eika, but for all characters who have speech bubble like that.

I wanted to check if the lines appeared in Hidden Star in Four Seasons, Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom or Double Dealing Character, but the dialogue bubble was different.

Lines in Bonus Failed

In Wily Beast and Weakest Creature, if you pay attention to the text of “Bonus Failed...” you can notice a fade line on the left and few red lines under it.

Apparently, it’s because in the game files, "Bonus Failed...” is close to the Wolf shottypes texts and to the game HUD and it catches part of them when it’s displayed in game.

I’ve tested this only in window mode because fullscreen doesn’t work for me at the moment. As for resolutions, it’s mostly the same for all 3, but the line on the left isn’t visible in 1280x960.
