[touhou-memories]

The readme.txt from ver. 1.00 of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil did not contain the changelog section. It was added in ver. 1.01.

The readme of ver. 1.02a, 1.02b and 1.02c had the changelog stop at ver. 1.02, but those versions were added in the changelog of ver 1.02d.

Similarly, the readme of ver. 1.02e had the changelog stop at ver. 1.02d, but the missing information was added in the file from ver. 1.02f. Also, starting with ver. 1.02f, the version number appears at the top of the readme.

The stage 4 track of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil had a different name in the omake from ver. 1.00~1.02e. It was changed in ver. 1.02f. The music room before ver. 1.02f also displayed that old name for the track (see /post/188022890599/).

Stage and boss themes from stages 4, 5 and 6 existed in the musiccmt.txt of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil ver0.08+, but they had a placeholder description. However, it seems that the names of the tracks were decided since then (or maybe earlier, it is unknown when exactly).

Hong Meiling’s name was corrected in the omake of ver1.02e of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. In ver1.02d it was written as 紅 美麗, but in ver1.02e it was changed to 紅 美鈴.

The name error appeared only in the omake. Her name from the game dialogue was written correctly.

On the right side there are screenshots from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil where the option “Clear back buffer every time” is selected. For comparison, on the left side there are screenshots when this option is not chosen.

This is what happens when you choose “Start in reference rasterizer mode” from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil custom.exe.

First picture is when you have “16 Bits textures” box ticked in custom.exe of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil and second picture is when the box is unticked.

The background of area where score/lives/bombs etc. are displayed is bit different.
