Recrystallizing 100 grams of 95% piperine powder/extract using hot acetone to yield nice pale-yellow needle-like crystals of decent size. Will post a couple photos of the final product when I get a chance :)

Miscellaneous Projects
Debugging the pride necklace on an Uno. I couldn’t figure out how to implement timer interrupts on the Gemma (ATTiny85), so I had to rewrite my code to use a bunch of millis check while loops instead of delays. But I got it working!

Last Tuesday I got to head up the mountains for a small gathering and photoshoot with Leanne of Shutter Crazy Photos - with spring on the way, my tropical dress seemed the perfect thing to wear! (Sadly the weather was not...wholly cooperative.) I love how the print looks in black and white - the photo looks like it almost could be from the 1950s.
