I wish I had more of a grip on Leon’s character, because I think I struggle with him the most out of anyone in Swsh. Like. The whole concept of him apparently rarely ever going home to Postwick and yet Sonia says he practically raised Hop single handedly is just. So conflicting to me. Like I guess you could interpret it as Leon having raised Hop until he became champion, and then became more absent after that? Like that’s the most logical way of interpreting it all but it just leaves so many questions for me that the game doesn’t even begin to answer. It just feels like there’s so many implications of Hop and Leon’s family actually being quite terrible that it never actually commits to.
Date everything is genuinely making me act kinder to my appliances and the objects around my home. this evening, something sounded like burning, and i was about to freak out, but it turns out there was a hair in my fan.
so instead of just being annoyed or maybe ignoring it, i was like, "Fantina!!! you scared the crap out of me, let me get that out, " and i got the hair out. partly because i couldn't imagine leaving her with it overnight.
man be kind to your inanimate objects. they were built for you
With the amount of Lex Luthors in the world, I'm very grateful for the new Superman inspiring people to be kind. "Maybe that's the real punk rock."
There's plenty of animal comparisons that fit but Elias really does remind me of something like a Pyrenean Mountain Dog or Turkish Kangal , basically livestock guardian dogs.
( and will forever be linked to a wolverine now , thanks Leone. )
i think in a perfect world, shaving your legs and armpits and whatever else is more of a cool body mod thing and not a misogynistic prison that every woman & feminine person is expected to conform to. we need shaving to be much less "womanly" and more "dolphinly"
woke up this morning to suddenly discover my that my country is on a war footing. the day continues on as usual. i have breakfast with my dad and finish my book. haven't india and pakistan fought a hundred wars by now? the reasoning for each remains vague - we must hate because we must? i often dream of walking to India. I could probably get there within the day if i tried, it is so close - but I'll never reach it. if (god forbid) war breaks out, every lahori knows our city will be the first to be lost. i prepare for exams, it's a marvel how my tiny worries persist, teem in my mind while calamity looms. it probably won't come, but then again I can do little but hope.
I should not be allowed to continue developing this Roman Au. I am here at work when the gears of my brain spit out the most soul crushing idea for that setting.
What if a roman civil war. What if the clones have to fight each other. What if the generals, senators, and citizenship all turn on each other. Brothers fighting brothers. All the kinship, all the trust created through the struggles they lived destroyed in a single conflict.
All the dreams broken by a single war, a struggle for power made by some unscrupulous bastard that just wanted more. Never satisfied until he has all the power.
What if all of this is a vision, a warning sent to someone before it happens. And now they have to live with and try to stop this nightmare before it ever begins.
What if they fail.
