☯ Is your muse liked or disliked by fandom? Does this affect your portrayal?

                in general, i’m pretty sure the fandom at large is indifferent towards garen. he doesn’t have the most stand out lore ( but i, personally, enjoy that because it lends itself to my characterization and my general attitude of “it could be that deep” with garen ). he does have his fans, and i’m glad he has them, but some of them characterize garen in ways that i don’t care for and others i respect. his fan base is actually pretty small, though. he doesn’t have a lot of fan content for example. 

                 i tend to have a habit of going for rare pairs or less popular characters, though. it always happens, so i’m definitely used to making my own content so to speak. his popularity or lack thereof has no bearings on how i conduct myself and my characterization because i’m so used to just doing my own thing in the end. if anything, his lack of popularity makes me more passionate about him.

it had been a surprisingly good night - both teams getting along for the most part. there was still a few rough spots - ahri didn’t seem like she wanted to be here most of the time - but lux swears she’s seen her smile at least once, so it’s a win for her.

more or less people had detached off into little groups to sleep early, or gossip, and lux had found herself creating a pillow and blanket fort with some of the various bedding strewn around. but her peace was soon knocked on as a visitor made them self present before the ‘door’ to her fort.

“ezreal -  i’ll only let you in if you say the correct password.” she speaks - though her voice is muffled from behind the blankets draped on top of her as she peeks through a gap between them. 

she’d made a blanket for, just because, and the smile on her face was hidden as she lounged in the luxury of her creation. she wasn’t about to let someone in without them having to work for it - even if it was ezreal. she knew he’d probably guess or smooth talk his way in, anyway, but for now she’s happy to mess with him a little.

“i haven’t forgot you yet.”

“ yet ?” she asks, arms settling on her hips - yet it was only in jest. “ are you trying to imply something here, ezreal ?” her lips were jutted - as stern as she can make a pout - and brows arched high as if she expected himself to explain himself - but it drops quickly, because she knows he doesn’t mean it quite like that. 

her face softens as she makes her way closer to the explorer, blonde strands flowing in the breeze behind her. a chill sinking over the landscape of demacia, yet she didn’t feel the need to pull her shawl further around her shoulders - barely feeling the breeze in the moment. her face is skewed for a moment, as it is obscured by her hair, teeth biting into a bottom lip, showing her inward worry for a moment before it’s smoothed over and replaced with a faint smile.

she takes a pause, before she speaks, brushing hair from her face as a distraction from the way she eyes the male before her - not for any scandalous reason, of course, but merely from the nagging worry in the pit of her stomach; checking to see if he had any outstanding wounds that she may be able to talk him into getting checked.

“ though, really - how long has it been since the last we met ? ” she asks, and as much as she wishes for her tone to still sound jovial, it drops a little; a little more bittersweet, but she remains steadfast in keeping the smile on her face. “ i wouldn’t blame you if you’d forgotten me. ” yet the words curled weirdly on her tongue, awkward, and it shows on her face - that it wasn’t quite what she had wanted to say. “ i mean -- i’m glad you didn’t.” she mumbles out, because she’s happy to see him - happy to find out that after all this time he was alright. 

“um...” and she tries to pick herself back up, licking her lips as she takes a moment to try and compose herself further - it was hard ; having been somewhat caught off guard at his arrival, she’d really only noticed a glimmer from outside the window  - a signal long engraved into her mind, that drove her to leaving her room as swift as she could before she was ducking behind walls and gates to a rendezvous.

 “ so, where did you go this time?” she says, finally as she probably not so subtly changes the topic, hoping she hadn’t made too much of a fool of herself right now,
