Rare Miserite on matrix - Dara-i-Pioz Glacier, Tien Shan Mountains, Districts of the Republican Subordination, Tajikistan

Agrellite, miserite, wollastonite (footwall portion of pegmatite) - Bridge Street pegmatite, Wausau pluton, Wausau complex, Marathon Co., Wisconsin.  This is the only pegmatite in the Wausau complex that penetrated from the syenite into the surrounding country rock.  Three ultraviolet wavelengths, three different responses.  Shown under long wave, mid wave, and short wave ultraviolet, then white light.

Miserite is said to be a stone which releases tension, and makes one feel more at ease and more able to throw ones self into festivities and events.
