Star let out a frustrated sigh as she crumpled up a piece of paper she had just been scribbling on and threw it to the floor in disgust. Star rested her head in both of her hands and stared across the table littered with books and pieces of paper containing symbols and mystic circles. Crumpled papers and loose sheets sprinkled the floor around her feet. There was a smear of ink along Star's right arm and a smudge on the side of her nose.
The sound of someone coughing caused Star to raise her head and glance out at the maze of dusty book stacks in this small, remote library. Star could sense a few others like herself, secretly working away at cryptic questions and glaring at anyone who came within five feet.
Star was about to turn back to her work when she sensed something different. An unusual sort of person had entered the library. Curious and not the least bit eager to return to her tiresome task, Star leaned back in her chair and waited to see if this new person would come her way or not.
"Oh you are adorable," Brieseis purred as she walked around the other girl, looking her up and down. "More so in person then through an image in someone's mind."
White stood awkwardly watching the other circle her. Only briefly did she encounter Aloisia’s other form and from what she had seen, White hadn’t been over thrilled to meet her properly. “Er….Thanks..?” She eyed the woman. “You’re not so bad yourself.”
?
"Do you know that your brother might not really be your brother anymore, after the demon’s taken over, right?"
Star’s always wondered what Aloisia thought about this, but didn’t want to ask for fear of crushing her dream of being reunited with her family.
Circle with a X in the middle (sorry i can send the symbol on my phone right now)
On a scale of one to ten: 9
It takes a lot to push Star to a ‘10’ in terms of fear, but Aloisia comes pretty close. Although to be more accurate it’s the demon inside Aloisia that Star’s worried about. She knows that when demons take control of a host’s body, especially after a long period of suppression, they can go wild. And Star wouldn’t want to see that happen because she’s not sure if she could stop Aloisia or the demon inside her and there would likely be a lot of collateral damage.
"You were told to run away," She grabbing the girl by the collar of her shirt her other hand clutching at the open wound on her chest as blood trickled from the side of her mouth. "What were you think, did you really think you could beat an admiral?"
White couldn’t focus on the Aloisia, her vision was too blurry and her words sound distorted. Her chest felt numb but at the same time it was screaming. Admiral? …Yeah, White was in this mess because of him. She hadn’t intended for him to show up legs a flashing, she thought it was just a group of marines…and completely missed the admiral. If it hadn’t been for Aloisia, god knows what would have happened. White coughed violently before her body grew limp again. Shit…what was she supposed to do?
