there was a moment in early ARR where misha came onto laha!cred and it went poorly, so he got in his head about it and stopped interacting with thancred beyond Coworker Courtesy for the rest of ARR.
early post-ARR is just thancred desperately trying to bed misha again to make up for Things During Lahabrea, but misha refuses to engage with him until he's fully recovered. (he really wants to! he's exercising a gargantuan amount of restraint!)
they'll get around to it! eventually...
a suitable vessel. a lingering thought in the night.
it's my headcanon that the reason misha was able to harness the eye of nidhogg at azys lla is because he is also an azure dragoon. i don't ascribe to being the warrior of light being enough to facilitate that. so of course, he hated it. he hated every moment of it. he became an archer to get away from all of this, and it comes right back to him in the end.
when they reunite with thancred, alphinaud says a little bit too much and mentions two azure dragoons. so the cat's out of the bag.
thancred now finally has another piece of the puzzle. another clue as to why misha disappeared and became an archer. but even though he'll acknowledge it now, he refuses to elaborate. on the eye. on its effect on him. on how much it scares him. so all they get is this. little moments in the middle of the night when misha is too tired to stop the words from coming out of his mouth.
thancred will understand. eventually.

wolcred yumetober day 6. hell yeah. a little late on this one because i had 15 different ideas and had to pick one
finally got to heavensward patches! finally saw my wife again! which means thancred posting is back ON!
i think misha is one of those giddy drunks that giggles a lot (when thancred is around, at least. he's probably a quiet drunk otherwise). he would say "hi" between kisses
i don't mention it but he's half miqo'te. he has a little tail. just a little one
drawing this last one drove me insane but it was worth it for him. god i love this stupid cabbit. look how bright his smile is when nobody is talking to him about being the azure dragoon
long ass scene that happens between wolcred in post-heavensward. even though misha hates how it happened, he's secretly a bit relieved that thancred knows he's azure now. he won't usually bring it up, but sometimes when he's too tired or too drunk to think too hard about it, he starts talking and won't stop.
these are the only times thancred gets any insight on what really happened and what drove his job change.
these are all on one really big canvas and this scene hit me like a whirlwind and it's so gay i was too embarrassed to show it to anyone for like a week. but i'm over it now, so here you go.
