Heās too experienced a man to let this slide.
An absolute tease.
He knows the game of love and attraction too well; he can play this out for as long as he wantsāand he will.
All around, an exciting, adrenaline-inducing, secretive, probably scandalous, & slightly toxic love affair.
Psychologically torturous situationship vibes.
But as much as he plays with your head and heart, heās always there to catch you in the end.
Estinien:
He keeps a straight face when he finds out, but he wants to Dragoon-jump out of the window.
Heāll keep his composure until itās an appropriate time to leave the conversation.
He needs to breatheāalone. Heās always been drawn to you, but to describe it as a crush? Wellā¦ he sees it now.
Very curt toward you afterward as he figures out his feelings. (Tsundereā¦)
What could he possibly do to deepen your relationship, if thatās apparently what you both want?
He now seeks you out alone for āplatonicā conversations quite often.
Keeps offering to share food and drink with you.
I would mention that he'd kill for you... but he already has.
Eventually, you get the hint that he likes you back; heāll make a move once he sees confirmation from you.
A bit hesitant when it comes to commitment, but he comes around in the end (the way everyone else expected him to).

How could his hero actually be attracted to him?! This is a dream, right?
Barely maintains composureācue wrist-wringing and evading eye contact.
Wide-eyed, he has to be excused from the conversation.
Every moment he spends alone in your presence is full of adrenaline and dopamine; heās dizzy with it and blushing deeply.
Itās impossible not to see that he likes you backāand has for a long time.
His tail and ears are so responsive to your every word and action.
Utterly devoted.

Heās glad you werenāt around when he found outāhe was blatantly flustered, and Thancred made fun of him for it.
He regrets not speaking alone with you more often; he seeks these conversations out now.
He is overly generous with you nowāhis outdated chivalry unmatched, truly overpowered in this era.
He begins to send you regular missives. At first, they are entirely for professional purposes, but they quickly come to contain an awe for everything you accomplish and who you are.
Calls you "my lady/lord".
His observant prose warms your heart.
He makes an effort to always be present when youāre around, even if heās just quietly in the background.
Heāll probably need you to make the actual first move, but the change in his behavior is extremely telling.
Yāshtola:
Entirely keeps her calm when she finds outāat least on the outside.
She always knows everything, but itās especially affirming to have proof you feel the same.
You notice she briefs you first now in meetings.
She keeps urging you to rest when youāre not fighting.
She's checking the balance of your aether far more than you'd ever know. Always watching.
You come to share tea and sweets more often.
What is this seductive smirk she keeps giving you?
Itās clear sheās entirely in control.
She's not a telling Miqo'te like G'raha, but her ears spring up just a touch when its your turn to talk.
Tataru:
Absolutely giggling and squeaking when she finds out.
But sheās a confident lady.
She starts making more outfits for you; her special tea gets sweeter, and you keep getting the biggest slices of pastry.
Sheās started handling your personal paperwork and financesānot just the Scionsā.
You keep getting invited for late-night champagne or tea.
The whole time, sheās looking wistfully, calmly into your eyesāand deep down, you know itās reciprocal.
Krile:
She does her little giggle.
Sheās really very open and mature about itāthatās just who she is.
This may or may not have affected her decision to take up Pictomancy and join you during Dawntrail.
She seeks you out for what seems to be platonic conversationābut why does every invite come with a little wink?
She comes to regularly tuck your hair behind your ears when you're upset by something.
Alisaie:
Blush, then smirk.
Swears sheād never crush on anybodyā¦
Keeps rushing at your enemies for you. Sheāll kill anything if it means youāre safe.
āIs that how you really feel?ā she teases anytime you give her (constructive) criticism.
Tsundere, but in the way where your idle conversations start to become nagging and teasing to deflect from the actual attraction.
When you finally give her the praise she needs, she looks away and blushes. Then acts as if it must be the most obvious thing that she's amazing.
Alphinaud:
When he finds out, heās blushing, shocked, embarrassed, and completely speechless.
He always came to you for validation and expertise, even when it was strictly professional. Now, that feedback holds serious weight.
Far too professional and mannered to make the first move with someone so āaboveā him.
Stuttering, rambling, etc., until it eventuallyāand accidentallyācomes out that he likes you too.
Wuk Lamat:
Sheās squealing.
āOh god, itās so awkward now. How do I not make this awkward?ā
Proceeds to stutter every time she talks to you.
Makes it awkward (endearingly).
You wonder if sheās into you or just feeling awkward because she doesnāt reciprocate.
This leads to a conversation (over tacos & margs, of course) where she just has to spill it all out bluntly & drunkenly.

Our emotionless, tsundere overlord.
He sputters a bit when he finds out, but manages to play it off.
Stays coolly in the background of group conversations, but his eyes are always on you.
He teases a bit moreādry, cheeky humor that deflects any adoration.

Both of these losers are kinda dressed in Finnish student overalls (please use your imagination). They're worn by students in university and university of applied sciences at student events (including Vappu). The colour of the overalls depends on the student's major and the city/town where they study. They can be decorated with patches, which can be purchased or obtained at events, for example. (the patches here are from Merkkilabra and Merkattu)
The white hat Ena is holding is supposed to be a Finnish student cap. It can be worn after graduating from high school. Vocational school graduates and engineering students, for example, also have their own, slightly different caps. These student caps are mainly worn during Vappu (April 30 and May 1).
