So I saw the conversation you were having with that anon about being aro and??? I think I might be? I guess I've never really understood the concept of romantic attraction but I assumed I felt it because I wanted a relationship with someone and I enjoy hand-holding, etc.

totally still possible to be aro in that case! plenty of aro people desire a relationship and for a lot of the same reasons as alloro people.  it's nice to have someone there for you who loves you.  you might want to have kids (and who better with than your best friend?) and live with someone.  or you might just want to feel like you exclusively want to have sex with each other, which is pretty relationshippy, or you feel like your relationship is stronger than a friendship but you're not really sure what the hell to call it.  all totally valid.
