Just because we're cute and sweet doesn't mean we're jelly on the inside.

I just looked at my dash at the first few people that appeared. And I realized, they're really cute and adorable people. Delicate and girly. But then I see their posts and they're very...well, vulgar. I don't think I'm alone in believing that it's surprising. I guess as much as people tell us not to judge a book by its cover, that's the mainstream thing to do. 

Just a few days ago, I read that one of the people I was following used to play some pretty rough hockey. And physically, she's one of the thinnest, pale, girly and fragile looking girls I've ever seen. Definitely surprised me. Though I seem to get the same reaction when I do anything remotely manly. Tons of people over the years told me I was the most adorable, cutest little Asian they ever met. (I'm not really that little. I'm 5'3 and on the pudgier side.) They called me innocent and sweet and incapable of being violent in the least. Then there were the people that were so surprised when I started cussing at random things. Like this guy Tanner would be like "OMG! She just swore! Do it again!" And he'd ogle me until I did. It was amusing the say the least. That was back in junior high. And even now, people still believe I'm incapable of doing anything. Like I have no physical strength at all. But really, I can hold my own against my boyfriend when we wrestle. Him being a workout maniac at times. He actually has a hard time sometimes. (I'm quite proud of this.) 

His friends still mock me. Sarcastically saying things like "Watch out, Ashley will kick your ass!" Or "Shit, she just swore! She's gonna fuck you up!" When in reality, if I was an angry enough person I could cause some damage. 

There's a reason why they say watch out for the cute ones.
