I'm a casual admirer of fungi, are there any good introductory books or learning resources about mycology you recommend?
For ID I’d recommend iNaturalist, the Mycology subreddit, or an identification book - Mushrooms Demystified by David Aurora is a classic in the States, though it’s pretty sizable (otherwise an ID book restricted to your locale works).
For learning about mycology in general, local nature centers and museums sometimes have really great programs. There’s great stuff on Youtube if you’re a visual learner.
Let me know if you have any questions in particular! My fungi skills are getting a little rusty living in Utah (why so dryyyyyy) so I would welcome anything to keep me up with mycology.

What's qi gong
It’s a practice of coordinated breathing, postures, and movements for balancing and moving qi (chi/ki). I have some videos in my queue I’m going to share but I also added some to this playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_SITkWsh2cl8izyUKT4PDX4CP2Sq3K3O

I seriously feel like looking at pics of me of a kid is looking at some other person. I feel like I just woke up as an adult, with some memories that feel like dreams.

They’re good! There are regular cheese kinds too. And they make cereals, which I haven’t tried yet.

Legend has it that they used to carry drinks (in this case milk) in a gourd type of sac made of sheep's stomach, for example (where rennet comes from) so on a journey across a land, the milk sloshed in this rennet containing stomach and separated the curds from they whey. Salt was later added as a preservative, and lo, cheese.
Ooh, that makes more sense. I was just imagining some farmer being like, “I’M GONNA JUST PUT MILK BACK INTO THIS STOMACH LOL”

What's the white shimmer you use under your eyes?
It’s Cottage Cheese jumbo eye pencil by NYX. I fade it into their shimmery pink Strawberry Milk and sometimes add a little glitter. In this video I show how, it’s really easy and the effect is nice. https://youtu.be/hj0DGSxPNc8
Also, I was supposed to be gothic that day so I took off my pastel nail polish and didn’t do my shimmery makeup as usual, but then when I got there they changed me to a fairy. xD Luckily I had my shimmer pencils on hand.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to answer me! ❤
Of course, anytime. I forgot to say that I highly recommend you subscribe to BILINGIRL CHIKA on YouTube. My sensei recommended me to her channel years ago, and I still watch her videos almost every day. She started out doing English lessons but now her channel is full of all kinds of stuff like travel, DIY, etc. She vlogs a lot bilingually but even her English lesson vlogs are really good to listen to. Even if you can’t understand much, it’s good to be listening to someone speaking Japanese every day so you can get your brain in the zone. Japanese vloggers are perfect for that.
