It was just ordinary day in Shibuya, Tokyo, nothing too out of the ordinary. The streets were still jam packed with people stuck in their own little worlds: students chatting up their plans for the upcoming weekend, business workers stressing over upcoming meetings and their daily struggles at work, families out shopping for things for themselves and others, and overall, just being average normal people living their average normal lives.
And that couldn’t be any more true for the cafe down at Cat Street, WildKat. Not a lot of people came by this cafe, except the random passerby. But, let’s not forget a certain rag-tag group of kids that started to come by as regulars as of late. Which, while this brown haired girl didn’t mind at all, seeing them from her usual spot in the corner closest to a window when she was there, it was a bit out of nowhere. She’s never seen these kids before, maybe it was because she didn’t go to their school or something. She did have to go to another part of Tokyo for that anyway. But, seeing them be all friendly with each other, even if it was just glimpses, it was rather comforting.
And today was just as ordinary in the cafe as it was out on the streets. Well... more or less. One thing that stood out of the ordinary, was that this brown haired teenage girl was behind the counter in an apron and hair tied in a pony-tail instead of the owner. Business at the cafe was slow as always, so most of the time she would glance at her phone. And the one other thing that stood out of the ordinary, was that one of the kids from that group she always saw visiting this place-- was alone. To her, this was a bit weird. But, she shrugged it off.
“Hello! Welcome to WildKat, what would you like~?” She asked with a kind smile at the girl.
