Ledo had never seen this many people in one place in his life. Even the cramped hallways of his homebase hadn’t compared. His eyes were narrowed in frustration, but he forced himself to take a long breath. No... He couldn’t lose his cool now.
At least the air was breathable. Thankfully, Chamber had already done the scans the language used here and was able to replicate it, though he hadn’t spoken to anyone yet. No, it was much easier to stay in the shadows and observe the other humans going about. But he needed information if he was going to get back to the Alliance. He needed answers about where he was.
What could be heard of Ledo’s speech would be heard as gibberish. However, half a second later, a robotic voice spoke over him in clear Japanese. “Hello. Do you know where we are? I am afraid I am lost.”
