My stomach is fucked up. Maybe it’s anxiety, maybe it’s too much crap. But I got to the point where I had to do something, other than going to see a doctor bc I have no insurance and even less money.

So I got me some peumus boldus infusion, for improving digestion, and a box of holy thorn (maytenus ilicifolia) dried extract, for healing the damage stomach tissue, and of course a bag of apples for juicing in the morning (I don’t know how they work but they prevent stomachaches).

Which is to say that in the event of the fall of civilization you can come to me for guidance in healing herbs, but also...

I also researched what foods should be avoided in the case of a fucked up stomach. Other than cigarretes and alcohol, which I havent touched in over five years anyway, at the top of every list, the star of all our lives, black, hot, sensuous: coffee.

This one book even made it clear that that includes all caffeinated beverages as well as regular or decaf coffee.

So noooo coffee for me.

You guys have no idea how hard it is to push through studying dull shit (law) with no coffee. I’m taking my ritalin alright, but it is just no the same. :(

I found this amazing coffee shop!

From the outside, looked a bit dodgy, but the steps persuaded me in.

The inside has a pleasing Mr Tumnus vibe. Plus, look at my coffee! Adorable!

I have to agree with Setsuko, here. That sculpture is probably a little taller than you. There's also a museum nearby that features lots of art from the Tang dynasty, so you could go if you have time before the party actually starts.

I have business to do before the party. I'll take a look after.

Putu Anindita Terpilih Sebagai Miss Coffee Indonesia 2012

Dewan juri pada malam Grand Final Miss Coffee Indonesia 2012 yang dihelat di Convention Hall SMESCO Building Jakarta Selasa malam (04/06), akhirnya memilih Putu Anindita sebagai Miss Coffee Indonesia 2012. Anindita, Miss Coffee Bali 2012 ini tersenyum bahagia saat mahkota disematkan di atas kepalanya. Ia berhasil menyisihkan 32 peserta lainnya, para kontestan perwakilan dari 33 propinsi di Indonesia.

Ajang pemilihan Miss Coffee Indonesia 2012 diselenggarakan atas kerjasama antara Asosiasi Duta Indonesia dengan Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif dan Kementerian Pertanian Republik Indonesia. Di babak lima besar Anindita bersaing dengan kontestan dari Gorontalo, Sulawesi Selatan, Yogyakarta dan DKI Jakarta 2. Ketika diberi pertanyaan apa yang akan dilakukannya untuk mengambangkan kuliner kopi jika terpilih menjadi Miss Coffee Indonesia 2012, dengan lantang Anindita memaparkan akan berbagi manfaat dari minum kopi diantaranya mencegah kanker payudara, melindungi dari penyakit parkinson, mencegah kanker usus dan lain-lain.

Kontes Miss Coffee Indonesia 2012 diselenggarakan sebagai salah satu wujud untuk menguatkan pencanangan agrowisata Indonesia. Petikan dari laman Miss Coffee Indonesia 2012, ajang ini merupakan rangkaian dari ajang Miss Coffee Internatioinal yang digagas oleh Indonesia dan sekaligus menjadi tuan rumah untuk tingkat internasional. Diharapkan pula pemenang dari kontestan ini dapat menjadi duta Indonesia untuk mempromosikan produk kopi unggulan Indonesia.

Dari perhelatan semalam dipilih pula Miss Congeniality yang dianugerahkan kepada Yuliana Natalia Manofando (Papua), Miss Talent Mutiarini (Jambi), Miss Inteligent Rizkha Monica Dewi (Banten). Runner Up 4 diraih oleh Risky Anindya - Gorontalo, Runner Up 3 Andi Aisyah Sinta Devi - Sulawesi Selatan, Runner Up 2 Winda Ayu Mandalasari - Yogyakarta dan Runner Up 1 Bianca Beatrice dari DKI Jakarta 2.

Dengan terpilihnya sebagai Miss Coffee Indonesia 2012, maka Putu Anindita akan maju mewakili Indonesia dalam ajang Miss Coffee International 2012 yang akan berlangsung di Bali pada Oktober 2012 mendatang.[oi3ve]
