JUNIE!
Today I learned that Juniper will wear hair clips.
Junie had never heard me sing.
I don't want to show my face but this is an artist's rendition of 15 seconds after I started singing The Wailin' Jennys Asleep at Last:
Singing and rubbing her head:
You don't have to be very good at something to please the ones who love you.
ID: Two small, fat, and beautiful colorpoint cats mill about on the floor, which is strewn with toys, begging for food with enormous jewel-blue eyes.
The little white and gray female cries piteously, like a young child who is melodramatically but effectively portraying an orphan in a school play.
The white and brown male, with barely a pause for breath, somehow lets forth a tireless wailing louder and more despairing than that of the forsaken souls of the dead who rend their clothes and pound their fists helplessly into the cold and muddy banks of the River of Lamentation.
There is no other dialog.
I love Junie so much because in three seconds she can go from the tiniest most smoochable sweet little mouth:
to the Maw Of Everlasting Death By Violence:
I did not expect Juniper to be the horribly naughty one. I should have known better. There's a devious little intellect hidden behind those empty blue eyes.
ID: Two beautiful young cats mill about on the floor, orbiting an empty bowl.
"Are you hungry?" asks a human.
Two piteous lamentations rend the air. Jasper, white with dark points, has huge round eyes that look like they have beheld the end of time, where no food exists.
"Jasper?!"
He emits a long howl, his mouth wide, showing little white teeth.
"Whoa! So you're hungry."
He cries again. The other, Junie, a little white cat with gray points, puts her perfect face in front of the camera and emits a sad, soft, weird little sound, like a very very small sheep that is some distance away, or perhaps some sort of strange radio transmisson. She looks worried.
Jasper cries some more.
"Really? Jaspercat?"
Junie meows but it is lost when Jasper rears and shoves his face in the camera and YOWLS, the screen for just a moment totally consumed by his little yelling mouth.
The human gives him a piece of kibble as a treat.
"Good boy." /End
Self-care Junie says remember to make biscuits for yourself sometimes!
ID: A fluffy white cat kneads at a soft blanket with her muzzle pressed against it like she was nursing. Audible soft purring.
