Star Chaser: pony who loves to race (especially at night) more than anything else in the world. His parents tried to get him into astronomy, but it never caught on. She’s a bit of a rebel who likes to stir up trouble whenever she’s bored. But don’t be mistaken—she’s got a heart of gold. He’d give you his left kidney if you needed it. He’d call you a nerd afterwards, though. Same as before she got her cutie mark from chasing a shooting star as a foal. Due to her hotheaded nature and her disregard for the rules, she didn’t have many friends growing up. All he wants is someone who understands him for who she is.
Clover Wish: I think all I really need to say is she is the epitome of the song "Little Miss Perfect." She is a grad student trying to figure out the magic of Earth ponies, particularly in the sense of luck. While she is passionate about her studies, she yearns to be outside and run in the races. Unfortunately, her parents see the sport as useless and thus not worth her time. She keeps on her studies until she meets Star Chaser and is immediately smitten. Star Chaser dropped out of the racing team because she didn’t like being told how to race. This causes a bit of a rivalry between the two, as Clover cannot fathom why he would pass up an opportunity like this. Something something idk they become rivals to lovers and get to race.
Miss Mesmare: Formerly known as Looney Tuney/Tooney. Her name is a pun on mesmerize and mare. She comes from a long time ago and is brought to the present when starlight glimmer finds an old pocket watch that just so happens to be where Mesmare was jailed. She has strong hypnotism powers she uses on unsuspecting stallions to steal their goods. However, something even darker lurks beneath. Who imprisoned her? Why? These are questions…….I don’t have the answers to. Yet. Ahem. What I DO know is she was once a beloved hypnotist until the evil thing happened. Whatever that will be. I’ll figure it out later 😅
