Kafka on the shore is a book that will make you feel exhilarated. You will question things. Things that are disgusting. Things that warm up your heart like a bonfire does. And things you simply cannot explain. The book widens your horizon of thought, creativity and imagination tenfold.

After a while into the book you start believing, like a child believes in Santa Claus, all that is written about in the book. Am I this amazed by it because it's one of the few fictions I've read? Maybe. But I can guarantee you that the book will give you a mild, sort of dull, but ever lasting high.
