Commissions: Special Deals!
I am real terrible at these posts so, HANG IN THERE WITH ME.
Doing that special deal thing again! Here is all the [ past deals ] with an detailed list of where I sell my artwork below. Keep in mind that if you become a patron and pledge a certain amount to me, you can always have these types of deals with many discounts on bigger and better commissions. So you know exactly where my style is right now:
I am taking up to four slots at a time. This does not mean I will only take four people. This deal runs out in a week!
Q: “But Dyli, why is that bust $25 when the Complex listed one listed on your Prices page is less?” A: Good question! I have an even better answer: they’re different. But how are they different, you might ask? The one on my prices page is a sketch. The one I am offering- that is no where on my comm page because lineart is daunting and I usually never do it- is lineart.
Q: “Wait, I thought your lines were lineart?” A: A misconception! They’re sketches. I just have really clean sketches.
Q: “What’s the benefit to the lineart?” A: It’s not just ANY lineart, it mimics INK. So if your character has really dark hair or tattoos, they will be filled in accordingly (or at your request, I will leave them as lines).
Q: “Will they be streamed?” A: Sometimes. Other times I like to stream personal art- no, personal art does not mean I forgot about you (though that does happen sometimes, feel free to give me a nudge every two days or so). Just means I have an idea in my head that I need to hammer out, even if it doesn’t come out well at all. It’s beneficial because I experiment in my personal art. I am sure you don’t want something extreme happening to your piece, so it’s like changing my oil or something.
Q: “May I color it/have someone else color it?” A: Yes! Just make sure to tag me somewhere that the sketch/lines were by me.
** You can send me a message here on tumblr, and I will promptly reply and give you my commission email FIRST so I can get the details, and my PayPal SECOND (I don’t like to make them public, and I don’t want people to confuse my commission logging email with my paypal).
Then in that email I will give you the commission spreadsheet. Rules are listed on my prices page. I will only give refunds before the piece is finished. I will not give refunds for dissatisfaction of the finished piece, which is why it is highly recommended you tell me if you don’t like something. It’s okay to tell me! My feelings won’t be hurt. It just might take a bit longer than what you hoped. So make sure you give me everything you can in the email. If you tell me “it’s good/great/perfect” and tell me nothing else, I will assume it’s finished. I do not post commissions until they are finished, or sometimes not at all. You may post them at your leisure only if you tag me or place a link to either my art tumblr, this tumble (dylibird), my dA, etc. **
*** KEEP IN MIND: Depending on my creative ability or your character’s design, the piece may not always look like the above. I am more than willing to do a redo/overhaul. But that can only happen once, so be sure I am the artist you want for not every artist can fulfill your desire. You will not get a refund if you simply don’t like the way I drew the piece. This is a risk you and many other commissioners take when commissioning someone.***

For this week's theme, it is Kaldorei Elegance! Each week or so, there will be a total of three outfits including hair and accessories. But what makes it special? The third outfit, of course. Instead of having access to the outfits to use as you please, you can OWN the third one! It will be yours to use wherever you want, and no one else is allowed to use it. That's the difference! And you get the whole file too, including the MS5 file and PNG file and one color variant that I will color for the winner. Of course, any other color variants will cost extra, but you don't have to have me do it of course. You'll have the files so you can do it yourself.
