New year not so “new you”!

It’s been about a year so this is the time when toxic people will try to pretend a rebirth into the public under the “new and improved” mask. According to a 12 year trend of “wait it out and do it again”, take caution. ♥ Be smart, be kind, but don’t trust the first thing that smiles or makes you feel important/helpful/good.

I know many people struggle with believing that abusers and harassers are capable of being two-faced in their day to day. These people want to be liked. Just cause someone was nice to you does not negate their abusive tendencies or a pattern of it.

So once more, be kind, be you, but be wise. ♥

I absolutely love how you draw your anatomy. If you don't mind me asking, how do you go about it? Do you use references and go with a style you prefer? or is it in a technique you found works best for you?

i think a lot of it has to do with muscle memory since i don’t do a stroke and ctrl+z a million times for the perfect line, just kind accept that it doesn’t have to be perfect to look aight. so i guess the latter !

Art trade with @dylibird kind of leaned towards a sketch with this one & personally enjoyed the idea of it. One thing is for sure, though, I do not know how to draw silken material. :’) regardless of how much I cannot stress the fact that this looks 100x better on paper, I still hope you like it

I had tons of issues like this in my job search. I applied to a myriad of places, and people began to not believe me when I said I was applying because I wouldn’t get interviews or was declined immediately because I didn’t fill out the assessment to their scored liking. Took a year and some drama of full throttle job searching every day before I actually got one..

This is the exact issue I’ve had in the past too. There are a few places I’ve applied for that rejected me outright because I didn’t meet the standards of their arbitrary test. Most people still lie on them, and they think they’re slick by repeating the same questions later on just re-wording them. A lot of the questions are purely situational to boot, so sometimes its hard to answer. What happened to the days where people can just walk into a place and get hired that same day?

100% this and I will ABSOLUTELY be there to do the Will Smith pose at the fearless POC/trans/enby/minority individuals who are protesting! We’re indebted to the people who organized, protested and risked their lives potentially to take part today, and all years past.
