1.Your favorite movie and what makes it amazing.
I would have to say my favorite movie is Love Actually. I love the way all of the stories intertwine and the fact that some are sad and some are happy but they are all different life stories. Also, it is wonderfully British. I also recently fell in love with Moonrise Kingdom, which if you haven’t heard of it, it is this sort of hipstery/quirky independent film that is hilarious and fabulous and I don’t even understand why I like it so much, but I am a bit obsessed.
2.Was there ever anyone who you really disliked and why.
I had a teacher in the 8th grade who was my homeroom teacher AND my algebra teacher AND my religion teacher (it was Catholic school). She forced us to write everything in cursive (in algebra, too!) and took off points for bad handwriting (there is honestly no reason to take off handwriting points on a math test) and made us turn everything in during homeroom so we couldn’t work on things in between classes. She was obsessed with the dress code and made girls kneel on their knees so she could take a ruler to their skirts. She also disliked me because I argued with her a lot in religion class and I died my hair once (a dress code violation) but my hair when from brown to auburn. You could barely tell the difference. That woman was crazy. But I know that deep down... way deep down... she is probably a good person at heart.
3.If you had to choose over ‘Yer a Wizard and I’m the Doctor’ which would you pick.
I can’t do this question justice because I don’t know enough about Doctor Who to make a fair comparison. I have seen a few episodes and a lot of my friends are obsessed and want me to watch it, and I intend to, but I haven’t found the time. Harry Potter, on the other hand... Well I was reading from my beloved British box set today (Harry just arrived at the World Cup!) and so if that is not proof enough... I have to go with ‘Yer a Wizard.
4.Do you have any cute little love stories to share, could you please tell.
Like from my life? None involving myself. But my parents have been married 25 years, and I think that’s something. I love the story of how they met. They met in college at a bar right off campus. My mom was there listening to the band and my dad was with his buddies hanging out and saw my mom. A little bit drunk, he thought it would be a good idea to walk past her smiling really big. Well, she just thought he was a weirdo. He finally went up to her and said “You are very beautiful,” and she responded “I know.” A bit defeated, he went back to his buddies. Then he went up to her again and said (and he ACTUALLY SAID THIS) “Do you have a boyfriend? Can I apply for the job?” I am not sure about the details, but somehow she ended up talking to him and all his friends and she said she was going to go see the movie they were showing on campus (Hair) and he said they were going, too, so they all went together. After the movie, he walked her home and he wanted to go up to her room, but she was like “No way, Drunko!” (She didn’t actually say that, but she thought it.) Then when she got upstairs, she told her roommate that she met a really nice cute boy.
5.Night or Day
Day. Not that I don’t enjoy a little night life. But I do actually enjoy my sleep and I am a tad afraid of the dark... Besides, at night it can sometimes be hard to see the beauty of the world around you (although I do love stargazing and the night can be very beautiful).
6.Favorite kind of tea and/or coffee
I love caramel machiattos and mochas, but since I am cheap, I usually just get a regular latte and drown it in sugar and cocoa powder.
7.Do you prefer blue or black pens or just pencils
Black pens. I find black easiest to read, and I usually go through my notes with colored pens and highlighters.
8.What would someone need to give you in exchange for giving up tumblr forever
Their virginity. No, I’m kidding. But I imagine if I had my own family I wouldn’t be online as much. But I don’t want to get married quite yet. i’m a little young. I guess they could give a library filled with amazing books and I would be entertained.
9.How many books do you own
What a difficult question! I just went to my bedroom and counted 65, but I can assure you that is not all the books I own. I have a lot in my dorm room and in the study.
10.What do you feel is your best feature
I am pretty good about giving people chances. I generally like people unless they do something to make me dislike them, and even so I usually forgive people.
11.What does the 3rd last text message you received say.
“Love you sweetness!!”- That was from one of my sorority sisters in response to my Merry Christmas, not from a boyfriend. I am quite single. But love of any kind is beautiful, so I am happy.
