@justlovesasusaku
haruno sakura was born to a random civilian family to parents who were generally unsupportive of her desire to become a ninja, wasn't given random inherent talents like the byakugan or sharingan or beinf a jinchuuriki, she was one of the smartest in their years and the only one to pass the written portion of the chuunin exam entirely on her ownn intelligence, she was skilled at resisting genjutsu at omly age 13, she apprenticed under one of the legendary sannin and became one of the best medicnin full stop at like age 15, she created an antidote to an extremely rare and life threatening poison within a day, her raw strength and extremely precise chakra control meant she had the most raw physical power and ability to deliver crushing strikes out of anyone, she performed open chest cpr on an active battlefield while almost out of chakra, and become one of the most powerful ninja period, and yall still downplay her
I love how it's lowkey canon that Sakura can't lie to the people that actually know her.
When she tried to kill Sasuke
Or lied to Naruto about loving him
Neither one of them believed her
"Let's go, Sasuke went on a mission after Naruto became Hokage—the work itself shows that. Naruto took on the role when Himawari was 4 years old, and since she has a 2-year difference with Sarada, that means Sarada was already 6 years old at that time. In fact, she appears in the ceremony." -sskuraha twitter
Naruto's power! Besides that, in Boruto we have an opening that shows exactly the time when Naruto and Sasuke became "absent" in their kids' lives, which was around the age of 6
Just them 💖
The tension between them 🔥
I was literally about to make a post about this, I think with how strongly the uchiha clan feels with their emotions such as love especially with a partner it just gives soulmate. I can't imagine Sasuke pursuing others while being inlove with Sakura.
Why are Ya’ll Sleeping on This?
We all remember that infamous intimate moment between Sasuke and Sakura after he got his curse mark. How he was the one who linked his fingers with hers and how he only started to calm down once she held him in her arms.
BUT DID ANYONE ELSE REALIZE HOW FUCKING CLOSE THEY ACTUALLY WERE TO EACH OTHER.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME, SINCE THE LAND OF WAVES ARC, THAT THEY HAVE BEEN THIS PHYSICALLY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER.
Now people will say that Sasuke was in pain so of course he wouldn’t have the strength to push her away. But HE was the one who linked his fingers with HER.
He was the one who sought her comfort out and he only calmed down once she held him in her arms after he had linked their fingers. This is Sasuke we’re talking about. Mr. Introvert. Mr. “Don’t fucking talk to me unless you’re a strong opponent.” He’s not a robot. He doesn’t like showing PDA with people he doesn’t have legitimate feelings for. So for him to not only start this physical connection with Sakura when it comes to COMFORT & SAFETY IS HUGE.
Kishimoto and Sugiyama have stated that Sasuke is very consistent when it comes to his feelings and his actions. Which is why his feelings for Sakura have always been completely genuine and pure. He doesn’t flirt or fool around with girls. He doesn’t actively look for a Girlfriend. But Sakura is different for him and he views her as someone he needs to protect and someone who is important to him. So for him to display this amount of physical desire for comfort through his pain from her is one of the clearest signs of his growing feelings for her at this point in the series. There’s a reason why Kishimoto had dedicated a whole panel to their hands intertwined. He showed their fingers intertwined because this is the first time that Sasuke has sought out Sakura’s love and honestly accepted it from her. This is the first time he was honest about his feelings.
So not only were their bodies practically molded together. Their hearts were also starting to mold together.
I don’t understand how people heard this dialogue, and just assume she’s obsessed with Sasuke. Her character is sooo much more than just the boy she has feelings for
I feel like people forget or maybe just don't know that Sakura is canonically beautiful like gorgeous. She's the female lead of the series, multiple characters have been in love with her.
On the same night, when Sasuke chases after Itachi trying to stop him from leaving, that’s when Sasuke awakens “the eyes that reflect the heart” his first tomoe
It’s Itachi’s betrayal and abandonment that causes Sasuke’s awakening
The second time he shows Sasuke the Tsukuyomi is when Sasuke is full of “hate” for Itachi
The intensity of Sasuke’s hate for Itachi is supposed to be directly proportional to his love for his parents in order for it to drive his power, but he doesn’t get a power up this time
And what does Itachi say after he’s done with Sasuke?
“You’re weak, you still don’t have enough hate”
Which means Sasuke does NOT hate Itachi enough, implying he loves someone else more than his parents now, as Sasuke atp was beginning to move on with his newfound love, team 7
Itachi was ADAMANT on making sure Sasuke got his sharingan, his ms and his ems no matter what
That’s what the Tsukuyomi was targeted towards, he wanted Sasuke to reach his highest potential so that he’d be able to fend for himself after Itachi was gone.
He even told Sasuke to kill his closest friend, which I know - HORRIBLE, but paints a good picture of Itachi’s desperation (I believe he knew Sasuke wouldn’t be able to anyway but that’s for another time)
Ultimately he had already planned to use his own death for Sasuke’s ms
(I wonder though, if he wanted Sasuke to gain ms by killing his closest friend, then he could’ve easily killed Naruto in front of him, get more hate, since he could see Sasuke cared enough to come rescue him, but he didn’t, so I doubt he wanted Sasuke to kill his bsf)
It’s both tragic and insane though, the amount of hatred Sasuke unleashed after witnessing Itachi’s death, when the floodgates opened and poured forth extreme amounts of both love and hate and he finally awakened his mangekyo sharingan
Itachi knew
I actually love when fanfic writers made sure to add Naruto's crush on Sakura, cause not only is it lore accurate but it's funny as hell when your reading one of those time travel fics and he's all like "am I married to Sakura!?" And everyone is just like no..
@Master Ollie: I never understood the agenda that Sasuke was faking his loneliness. It’s an explicit part of the story that the Uchiha were ostracized by the village, and then Sasuke ends up as the only one left. Him being talented or having schoolgirls fangirl over him doesn’t change that. Those girls were basically the only people who ever "liked" Sasuke, and even then, most of them were interested in the idea of him, the last Uchiha, the prodigy, not Sasuke as an actual person.
Nobody really understood or connected with him. They either admired him because of his clan or respected his talent, but that’s not the same thing as friendship. It’s basically the same kind of loneliness narrative Satoru Gojo has. Gojo is admired and respected because he’s strong, but he’s still lonely because nobody truly relates to him or sees him beyond that strength. Saying Sasuke wasn’t lonely because girls liked him is like saying Gojo doesn’t have a loneliness narrative because teenage girls were fawning over him in Hidden Inventory.
Even the Sasuke Retrieval Squad proves this. The people risking their lives to bring Sasuke back were doing it because he was their comrade as a Leaf shinobi, not because they actually knew him personally or cared. Shikamaru straight up says he doesn’t really know Sasuke and doesn’t even particularly like him. So the idea that Sasuke somehow didn’t experience loneliness just feels really strange to me.
People can admire you without actually understanding or knowing you.
