This beautiful old lady, Freya, crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. She turned 16 earlier this month, which is very old for a Labrador and she was massive part of our lives and will always be in our hearts.

Lindsay: Good morning babe. Too early to talk?
Me: It's okay. I have an early meeting anyway. How are you?
Lindsay: Great. I miss you.
Me: I miss you too.
Lindsay: Babe?
Me: Yes?
Lindsay: Are you busy later today?
Me: Yes babe. I have tons of work to do.
Lindsay: I see (on a very sad tone)
Me: But I adore you, you crazy, gorgeous, wonderful but also sometimes quite weird but still lovely person and even I am the busiest person in the world, I would always find time for you.
Lindsay: Haha I adore you too my love. Just asking if you are busy.
Me: Wow.
She sure know how to steal every conversation.
I miss Cath! *Crying forever*
This song is so important to me today. One year ago today, right around this time, my grandma passed away. She was the most amazing woman in the world, giving to anyone she met and had the biggest heart. For 15 years she fought a disease that literally killed her from the inside out. The prognosis for her disease was originally 2-5 years but she fought it for 15 years. She is the epitome of strength and stubbornness to me...which is where I get it from. I miss her so much and wish I could have one more conversation with her. I have already cried twice in the last hour because reality has sunk in that she's been gone a year. I miss her so much. So, if you have grandparents still living, hug them for me today...talk to them because you never know how long you'll have with them.
