NOTE: Fisher is known to hike in tie dye t-shirts and bright colors.

Jerren Fisher started a solo hike at Graves Creek Trailhead on 9/8/2021 and planned to camp at Enchanted Valley, Marmot Lake, Camp Pleasant & Sundown Lake. He was due to exit on 9/12/2021. Fisher was reported overdue on 9/16/2021.

Kieran M. Burke

Kieran M. Burke, an Irish citizen born on July 6, 1955, disappeared from Yosemite National Park in California in early April 2000 at the age of 44. He had traveled from Rathfarnham, Dublin, for a vacation to San Francisco and the Yosemite area, reserving lodging near Curry Village from April 4 to 6.

On April 5, Burke—described as a 6′0″, 180‑lb experienced hiker with black hair and blue eyes—was last seen in Curry Village wearing a distinctive leather bomber jacket while beginning a day hike. His rental car was later found parked in the Curry Village lot, but no trace of Burke emerged.

Despite searches launched after he failed to check out, no eyewitnesses, belongings (other than the car), or evidence were ever found. He may have carried a camera with him at the time of his disappearance.

His case remains unsolved, classified as lost/injured, and continues to be investigated by the Yosemite National Park Service.
