Okay, yeah, this guy was terrifying. The epitome of every horror story Gothel had ever told her, pointy teeth and all. Rapunzel blanched as she stared at said teeth and took a step back, but she kept her wits about her instead of shrieking and cowering, like she would have done had she still lived in the tower.
“I-it’s a big castle!” she countered. “I’m sure it’s around here somewhere! We’ll just look for it, okay?” On her shoulder, she could feel Pascal’s little claws digging in, just as scared as she was, and she imagined he had blended himself into the stripes on her sleeve.
