OK so I'm amending my previous statement he's like the world's worst mechanic popping the hood and then just letting Robin get her hands dirty. Actually there is wisdom in letting a more experienced mechanic take over so really he's doing pretty good. Could definitely be worse.
No wonder he kept her in bed all day after he's got all these feelings he can't comprehend all these parts of himself that he can't quite handle but he's got Robin now. He can let her reach in and hold all those parts of himself.

Some villain calls Invincible a GDA dog and he shows up the next day in a pretty princess collar (which Robin helps put on him while he bends down for her to reach, of course). Metaphorical tail wagging because he can tell she finds it hilarious and that's just a million times the incentive right there.
