I feel like I got a lot done today! I took the day off from work, and i lazed around vegging on the computer for most of the time before I would normally have left.
I edited the badge files, headed down to Kinkos to get them printed up - Funny story about that: I go in there once a year (always for the badges for this con) and sometimes twice a year. It’s very rare for me to go in otherwise. But I’ve been doing it for years and I walk in and the boss looks up and says “It can’t be that time of year again already!!” The fact that they recognize me (and remember the general time frame i come in) really boggles my mind!! - then to Midas to schedule an oil change (Desperately hoping they don’t come and say - you also need this, cause i have no money!!!).
Came home and worked on 2 new pictures - inked from start to finish (one had to be finished getting designed. And then altered again when i got the inks started) - while hanging with my daughter and watching Eureka.
of course, then i spent half an hour looking for my tablet after scanning the art i made so i could color.
I still can’t figure out how it got into my backpack when i haven’t gone anywhere recently that I would even packed my laptop up for - oh wait, i just figured it out. mid February i went to my mum in laws. mystery solved.
tonight i plan to do some (all?) of the coloring for those 2 picturse (was gonna be a third but i hate the inks on it. I think i’m gonna have to trash it) and tomorrow i will cut out 300 badges and have them ready for sundays badge making party.
