It's my favourite. When it wasn't in the movie I figured they cut it for time reasons and because it's so incredibly depressing. But in my grown-up, lots-of-notes-all-over-the-place Les Mis piano book the third verse with the shrine of friendship is repeated twice.
Where has my favourite verse gone? Did the EZ-play people make up the most wretched stanza in Les Mis just for a kids' piano book?
I cant wait to finally hear this part of the song!
