I just realized I don't think I ever mentioned this about the Missing Alice au for Julius's story.
Originally before I turned it into a science and futuristic story with political issues and where trust in the medical field was crushed by loss of people going to said hospitals.
The original story ideas were so much less packed with outer world scenarios.

Originally Julius had killed alice and even used her frozen body to fix oswald and put him back together'
He was supposed to be similar to a mad scientist similar to frankenstein, but that was the most lore i threw in.

Then I got to thinking about the medical stuff behind his work and the fact he himself needed to be a very smart child in order to even understand that bodies decay if left to the elements so I turned him into a science project himself where they were looking to fasten the pace of becoming a genius.
That was when the story shifted to Alice was more so 'taken out' for digging her nose where it didn't belong and she left her work to Julius who realized he could save her. Except he wasn't prepared for the CPS to come and take him away. So Alices Body was left hidden in her secret lab where he'd stashed her.
Which leads to him trying to run constantly and eventually being paired with Oswald. A kid who hated being left alone and became very clingy to him.
So they bonded and eventually Julius accepted his loss, up until Oswald's illness, which caused him lots of issues growing up, finally claimed him at 10.
