Reposted from @sistersunitedmt (@get_regrann) - One year ago we held our first collaborate effort to raise funds for Missing Murdered Indigenous Women. I was shocked when we raised $1500 for the Great Falls YWCA in less than 2 hours. With the support of the Fiber Arts community this year we have raised money for organizations supporting native women, created a $5,000 college scholarship, worked on trafficking prevention measures, and helped raise awareness. Fast foward 1 year and we are getting phone calls to help organize raising funds for an immediate and active search for a missing girl here in Montana. This speaks volumes for the need we have on the Crow Agency, Montana, and across the United States and Canada. Thank you to everyone here listening, learning, reading, donating, and supporting. This is a grassroots effort to make positive change & we need you! Thank you @spacebabetattoo for sending us this image! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 #hopeforsal . . . I made this piece to be shared in hoping it will help shed some light on my missing and murdered indigenous sisters.
