The grieving period has officially ended. Pantheon has summoned crews of interest to return to work. Two missions unite a total reward of 532$ MILLION USD to be divided among crew profit. 

RECAP: THE INTRODUCTION OF PALEOSOI

the death of agent Hathaway set cracks in the foundation of pantheon. the tragedy placed an enormous pressure on the shoulders of the organization. such a thing was never predicted by the finest of agents — they had thought the future of pantheon was sealed. a betrayal soon set operatives on a desperate mission to seek out the web of lies. in this moment a decision was made: to gather selected agents and keep any eye on all crews. members might of thought their fellow co-agents had left for a vacation or personal mission. however, they were hidden in plain site. the eyes of pantheon drew closer to the very inner walls of each base.

it would be difficult to assume that these agents knew what was coming. it was as if time flashed before their eyes. the accident and suddenly darkness overcomes them. the bag ripped from their heads would reveal the marble walls of the pantheon base only legends knew of. here they would be told of the duty forced upon them. would the guilt consume them or would they thrive under their new title.

paleosoi — the crew to rid of all wickedness ( and illness ) in any crew of pantheon. while role of titan was once to sit at the thrown it would have to bend to it’s new rulers. veritas: those who seek the truth and keep accountability and epione: those who can heal the wounded. justice and health has become a priority at pantheon and maybe purely to save face.

in the name of agent hathaway — may her memory never fail to remind us of the true fragility of life. pantheon vows to never make such mistake again. the freedom and vanity of each crew has been struck with a cost. will you sacrifice the lifestyle that feeds you to escape the sudden weight placed upon your shoulders or shall you endure for the love of what you do.

MISSION #001

TARGET: REESE SQUIRES

CREW CALL: house of pollux / godsend

REWARD: $241 million dollars ( split equally )

TARGET LAST SEEN: BRUSSLES, BELGIUM.

SQUIRES is the CEO of DEPNEI CORP. once filled with such promise to offer protection to wildlife and especially our endangered oceans. backed by several global organizations it earned depnei a 2.3 Billion dollar net yearly. his promise fell short when it was revealed by trusted sources that DEPNEI had several connections and ships related to the recent string of heists.

Mr. Squires is currently responsible for 1.2 billion dollars worth of crimes against humanity. His most prized artifacts are assumed to be hidden in his luxury apartment in brussels. the property is known for it's three floors and five bedrooms. surveillance suggests no recent guests have occupied the apartment, however, it is surrounded by guards.

Pantheon believes various artifacts can be found on the third floor. While we can only assume we have yet to know as to which artifacts are being hidden.

DIRECTIONS

MISSION ONE CREW:

PLAN AND FIND A WAY TO THE APARTMENT writers will be given the chance to plot out their game plan for mission 001 on discord. we suggest writers search up a map of Brussels and pin point a luxurious apartment set Mr. Squires might live in.

ASSASSINATE SQUIRES oracles and others can work together to plan the perfect attack against the target. code allows writers to think outside the box and work together on a narrative.

FIND A WAY TO TRANSFER THEM OUT OF THE CITY all rankings are needed for such an operation. After the death of the target it will be crucial for all members of the joint crews to quickly smuggle artifacts safely to their forms of transportation.

MISSION #002

LOCATION: POMPEII, ITALY

CREW CALL: black diamond / four hundred

REWARD: $291 million dollars ( split equally )

REGARDING: the discovery of several artifacts by Professor Yun respectively donated to pantheon in hopes of protection from other corporations.

HISTORY OF LOCATION

It is believed to have been founded in the sixth century BCE by the Oscans. The Oscans or the Osci were the natives of southern Italy who spoke the Oscan language. The city was annexed by the Romans in the fourth century BCE and it remained a very important city until its destruction. Archaeologists believe that the city of Pompeii was located in the region of Campania, approximately 14 miles from Naples, in Italy. Its location at the southeastern base of one of the most active volcanoes of Europe – Mount Vesuvius – was its undoing. The eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 CE destroyed Pompeii and other neighboring communities such as Herculaneum, and Torre Annunziata. Collectively, the three were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

Archaeologists believe that the ancient city of Pompeii was founded by the Oscan speaking people of Campania. Its location near the mouth of the river Sarnus (Sarno) made it a beautiful ‘resort’ town that prospered by virtue of the great number of tourists that it attracted and due to the trade opportunities, it offered. By the eighth century BCE, the influence of the Greeks was pronounced and by the following century the Etruscans invaded and settled in Pompeii. By the fifth century BCE King Hieron I of Syracuse conquered Pompeii and neighboring towns as well. Another century later, the entire region of Campania became a part of the Roman confederation. The assimilation of Pompeii into the Roman Empire was not complete, though, and Pompeii along with other Italian city-states launched a revolt against Rome in around 89 BCE. The revolt was quashed and Pompeii became a colony of Rome after the ensuing war.

The eruption of Mount Vesuvius was not without warning. In 63 CE, a major earthquake struck the region and many parts of Campania were affected. The belief that Pompeii was indestructible, however, continued to attract people. On August 24, 79 CE, Vesuvius erupted shooting up columns of volcanic gas, ashes, and pumice. Those who had read the warning signs a day before had left but over 11,000 people remained in Pompeii only to be killed by the heat and choked by the gases. The eruption that destroyed Pompeii, however, preserved in its ruins, near-perfect condition to be discovered nearly 17 centuries later (excavation worked in Pompeii began in 1748).

DIRECTIONS

SET UP CAMP IN POMPEII + PROTECT THE PROFESSOR. Professor Yun has been the victim of several threats regarding his recent discoveries. Pantheon has sent it’s finest agents to protect both the professor and his crew while safeguarding artifacts and returning them to their rightful home. 

COLLECT AND PACK ARTIFACTS writers are asked to come up with four major artifacts. these can be real or made of fiction with correct research. you may post about the articles in code.mission02. make sure to include the discovery of artifacts match with the history of pompeii. 

EXPLORE A FOUND TOMB NEAR SITE it’s a difficult site to witness since the recent incident with hathaway. agents are given the difficult task of returning to a place that reminds them of the past.

prove her innocence (part one)

the Toreador is corralled in the Enclave, a high ranking member of Kindred society is dead, and Lucifer Morningstar -- secret Ancient, husband to the accused -- is trapped in the situation alongside all his fellow clan members who do not trust him to investigate this. and why would they? the whole of the Eastern Seaboard knows that Eve Delgado and Lucifer Morningstar would move Heaven and Hell for the other; morals and duties be damned. no one would put it past Lucifer to let his wife off the hook without evidence and who could blame him?

so it was now up to him to work within the rules and within bounds to amass enough evidence to prove her innocence in the span of two weeks... or his wife would be chained in the open air and left to watch her last sunrise. perhaps not the most humane way to die, but no one wished to be the one to lay the killing blow on the Morningstar bride. it was a delicate place to begin an investigation. so where would he start?

Lucifer can do one of the following and perform two actions at each subsequent location:

(1) he may speak to the party guests about what happened on the night in question and anything else they may know about the deceased or the accused.

as a Lictor still, he has access to anyone and everyone who may have been at the party with free reign to ask whatever he likes to them. keep in mind though, most of the guests were Toreadors who had their own webs to weave and things to do. no one was watching too closely... or were they?

(2) he can investigate the murder scene to see if there’s anything there someone else may have missed.

the body was found on the same yacht that the party was being held. of course, supposedly the party was winding down by the time Arthur ended up murdered, so any evidence should not have been disturbed by partygoers.

(3) he can go to the Enclave and see what the people there know about the case as well as follow up on any evidence he finds elsewhere. 

he still has allies... and if certain other Ventrue aren’t his allies, surely there’s a something he can do to garner their help. after all, the Ventrue work in favors owed too -- it’s the nature of the Kindred where money becomes meaningless with time. not to mention Eve is here, and while he can spend valuable time comforting her, he can also spend time seeing what she has to say about the night in general. she will be most helpful in terms of more specific questions, and this mind is the one he fell in love with. it’s likely her hypothetical advice may turn into helpful hints for the following night.

death on the hudson

you are cordially invited to dine on the Hudson.

it was one of those little cruises, a Toreador early evening party that was basically the equivalent of a kine cocktail party. Eve was aglow, still in the blush of early marriage, still the relative scandal and envy of the Toreador community for her marriage to a Ventrue… but not just any Ventrue. Lucifer Morningstar. a highly sought after prize. their marriage would be gossip and speculation for at least another decade even if it had already been some time since the actual ceremony. 

Luc was on her arm, as she asked him to be, but she knew he couldn't stay all the while. there was a mandatory meeting for Lictors happening around midnight, and he'd have to leave. but she was just glad to hold him, sip blood out of champagne glasses like it was red wine, and maybe steal a dance and a kiss here or there. but Eve was promptly distracted from marital bliss by one face. 

Arthur Buchanan. 

his last name had changed over the centuries, but the face hadn't. an elder Toreador that was halfway to Ancient status. a Harpy, of course. "i need him. for my circle. when you leave, i don't want you to worry about any sharp-tongued rumors, but i will try to be wooing him into at least an acquaintanceship." Eve gave Luc one long kiss then but abstained for the rest of the evening until he left, focused on keeping Arthur in the corner of her eye. 

Hepzibah had been twitchy, all evening. Cespenar had already chided her twice, but she noted that it wasn’t her. it was the Mistress. those were the words he took back to his Master in the study, “sir, the ghouls who are bound to the Mistress… they feel something amiss.” it was roughly four in the morning when Eve returned, a few hours before sunrise, but well after the party's scheduled end time. she used her Celerity to move up to the bedroom, not even stopping in the study to check on her husband, to provide him updates and affection. as soon as she entered and moved, Hepzibah was up the stairs after her.

if Luc followed, if Luc went to check on his Toreador, he’d find Hepzibah helping her out of a torn cocktail dress, one bare shoulder from where her sleeve had been torn and a red mark on her arm. her eyes were cold and furious, but at the sight of him they warm, and she smiles as though nothing is wrong, “a server had been fumbling all night, my love, i think he was drunk. he bumbled into me and took my sleeve clean off. but on the plus side, i think my peers thought the fashion statement to be intentional on my way home. i wouldn’t be surprised if it were a new trend come tomorrow evening.”

she clearly did not want to speak more on it afterwards, but her eyes promised that she’d say more with time. she just needed to think. 

time was not a luxury they had. the next evening, new trends or not, there was a loud knocking at their front door. “guests? at this hour? i don’t receive on this day.” Eve looked up, confused, sipping on her morning portion of blood. but it was not guests. Archons from her own clan, a Lictor from Luc’s, they all entered the dining room and surrounded her.

“Arthur Buchanan was found half naked and murdered in his room last night. all accounts point to you as having fled the scene around the hour of his death. we will need to take you in.”

after all Arthur Buchanan was an elder Harpy, a man with his fingers in a lot of pies. not only was he close with the Prince of the city, but he was also close to the Nosferatu Ancient who had chosen to take special interest in this case. the new Justicar, only so recently appointed after the flight of Madame Guil, was happy to accept the help during the adjustment into the new role.

“i didn’t do it! i swear! why would i?!”

“so his well-known dislike for interclan relationships, his loud decrying of you and your husband, the way it was affecting your standing among his circles? that wasn’t reason enough? a part of the dress you were wearing last night was also found beneath the victim’s body.”

her eyes grew panicked, terrified, and she sought her husband, she sought to make her way to him, but she was already being pulled back. “you’ll be kept in the Ventrue compound until your execution.”

“my what?!”

but the prince was furious, the Nosferatu Ancient was furious, both were baying for her blood. neither needed much further investigation. it seemed so cut and dry. 

the Ventrue Lictor, obviously younger than Luc, but unfamiliar as she held out her hand. “i know technically you are the Lictor responsible for this, and it falls in your jurisdiction. but obviously, we believe you may not be the most unbiased in this matter. granted, we would not merely execute __your__ mate without due cause. we will allow you several weeks to gather evidence to prove her innocence, but without another culprit, justice must be done. i was called in to handle that aspect.”

while the words were polite, the manner was cold, and it reflected much of how the rest of the clan must have been feeling. no one could trust that Luc would not automatically side with his bride in such an affair… guilty or not.

so, as Eve is dragged away, trying to maintain her composure while still fighting off the grip of the other men, it’s left to Luc to decide if she is innocent and how to find who is guilty.

It looked like Rock had maybe gotten a little too careless in his self-indulgent adventuring throughout the Cotes Ward. The food, the sounds the sights; the rush of new sensation had all bewitched him into forgetting: this is a city where real people live, not some tourist trap.

And every city had its bad parts of town... Seemed this dressing of an oriental utopia had its own, as well.

Calmly keeping a steady stride through unkempt streets and byways, Rock kept himself alert as to the people around him, not missing a few stares that were lingering a bit too long.

Where there were good people, there were bad just as well-- and this little corner of town had to have ended up in this state for a reason.

As he tried to find his way back to the shinier side of the ward, he knew he couldn’t let himself get caught unawares... He only had five Charge Shots a day to work with, after all; he wasn’t in the best situation for his own self-defense.

Still... Sometimes the most dangerous individuals are the least obvious.

self para || now that there’s nowhere to go

The worst part was, it was already getting easier.

He slipped out of the flat while Sirius was still asleep, extracting himself carefully from his boyfriend’s heavy limbs, pressing a soft, nearly imperceptible kiss to his sleeping head like some sort of apology. It was easier, he figured, not to say anything. He would only be gone for one night this time. 

Greyback was expecting him. There was no question this time, no explanation, n greeting. There was just this: the harsh grip of Greyback’s fingers on his face, a sharp gaze like a man examining an animal for the slaughter. 

Not a man.

A wolf.

The pack prepared for the moon by sleeping through the day, and Remus, exhausted, joined them. Propped up against the branch of a tree, he slept fitfully through the afternoon until the woman -- wolf -- next to him got up, and he followed. 

She walked down to the creek and drank from it, the water dirty and gritty with silt, and then she sat there, watching the sun begin to fall in the sky, and he sat with her.

“A wolf is not a soldier,” she said, finally, as the sun brushed the horizon. “A wolf is a hunter, and it fights for no cause but it’s own survival.” 

When he asked her what she meant, she bared her feral teeth, ground and unevenly set in her jaw, and stood back up.

The moon rips through him as it rises, splitting his skin at the seams, breaking his bones, and this time, he doesn’t scream. 

He runs.

He doesn’t go straight to Dumbledore, not this time. Instead he goes to Peter’s, early enough that he knows he won’t be awake. He sneaks in with the spare key. He showers. He makes a cup of tea and takes it with him, figuring he will return the mug another day.

The only blood on him is the blood under his fingernails that he can’t quite get out, and the streets of London are empty as he makes his way home.

How to become a fashion man (Allie x Sam)

Sam était devant son armoire et ne savait pas trop quoi mettre pour convaincre quelqu'un de lui apporter une aide vestimentaire. Il se doutait bien qu'il ne pouvait pas mettre une jolie chemise ou le truc qui pensait le mieux lui aller.

Cette mission de Mr. Lived était encore assez confuse pour lui, il ne comprenait pas pourquoi le propriétaire des lieux voulait tellement qu'il change d'apparence. Est ce qu'il faisait tache au milieu de se vaste décor ?

Sans vouloir se vanter, Sam savait qu'il était un bel homme et qu'il savait a peu près se vêtir, d'ailleurs au lycée, il était toujours le gentil intello super bien fringuée dont les filles raffolaient, quand elle ne s'intéressait pas à son bad boy ténébreux de meilleur ami.

Il savait également qu'il se ferait traquer par Derek pour cette mission, qui lui aussi, pensait qu'elle était ridicule. mais il se gardait bien de le dire à voix haute, on était jamais sur de savoir que les murs n'avaient pas d'oreilles.

Il mit rapidement son tee-shirt de sa ville natale, celui qu'il avait crée à l'effigie de leur équipe de hockey au lycée, autant dire qu'il avait déjà bien vécu, et il enfila un jean délavé, d'un bleu sombre, sauf à certains endroit usés. il passa rapidement une brosse dans ses cheveux et alla se laver les dents. il enfila ses tennis ensuite et sortit de son appartement.

Allie O'Connel. Bien, fallait la trouver, il prit les escaliers qu'il descendit rapidement et arriva dans le hall. Il ne savait pas si l'agent à l'accueil était autorisé à lui communiquer les appartements de ses voisins mais Sam se dit que qui ne tente rien n'avait rien n'est pas ? Il se dirigea alors vers l'accueil, confiant.

- Bonjour, pourrais-je savoir ou vit Allie O'Donnel ?

L'employé ne sembla pas trouver ça bizarre et mieux encore, il se mit à rechercher sur son ordinateur quel appartement était celui d'Allie.

- Madame O'Donnel réside à l'appartement 221, étage 22 Monsieur.

- Merci beaucoup.

Monter les escaliers semblait trop pour Sam alors il appela l'ascenseur. Pendant qu'il patientait, il se demandait si les attributions des appartements étaient calculé. Si le fait qu'il se trouve aussi bas dans l'immeuble le plaçait également bas dans l'estime de Mr.Lived, et si les habitants du haut, eux, étaient dans les bonnes grâce du propriétaire. Sam fronça les sourcils : si c'était ça, c'était une bien grosse erreur de la part de Lived. Et il le lui prouverait.

L'ascenseur émit un léger tintement et les portes s'ouvrirent lentement pour le laisser rentrer, il appuya sur le 22 et attendit que la montée se fasse. Après quelques minutes, il arriva enfin a l'étage souhaité et sortit de l'ascenseur. Les couloirs et la décoration étaient les mêmes qu'à son étage, seul la vue qu'on voyait par la grande fenêtre au fond du couloir changeait.

Il se dirigea vers le numéro et hésita un moment. Il fit quelques pas devant la porte. cette mission, ce n'était pas l'idée du siècle selon lui, et Allie pouvait bien l'envoyer paître, ils ne s'étaient jamais parler et il venait déjà lui demander un service. D'un autre coté, si la passion d'Allie O'donnel était la mode, relooker quelqu'un devait être un de ses hobbies non ?

Sam inspira à fond, de nouveau confiant grâce à sa dernière pensée et sonna à la porte. il attendit quelques secondes devant la porte avec que celle ci ne s'ouvre sur une jeune femme très belle, semblant débordée. Aie.

-Bonjour, excusez moi de vous déranger, commença-t-il rapidement en lui souriant largement, sincère,je m'appelle Sam Richards, j'habite au 3ème et j'ai entendu dire que vous vous y connaissiez en mode. Samedi soir j'ai une réception importante avec des possibles donateurs pour l'hôpital dans lequel je travaille, et j'aurais besoin d'un peu d'aide.

Il désigna ses vêtements avec un petit rire, et passa sa main dans ses cheveux. Il avait parlé d'un bloc pour ne pas se faire couper en plein milieu de sa phrase et attendit la réaction de la jeune femme.

Act : Mission 002 (Self-Para)

Sam avait profiter de son jour de repos pour faire la grasse mat, il savait qu'en tant qu'interne, les titulaires serait plus que ravi de se débarrasser de lui une journée. Il aimait ce qu'il faisait, être utile pour les patients. Et les gens le prenait souvent pour un fou, mais il adorait le rush des urgences, être à plusieurs endroits à la fois, se sentir important.

Mais relâcher la pression faisait du bien de temps en temps, et il avait passer sa vie à l'hôpital cette semaine, 85 heures de sutures et de cas inquiétants. Et souffler un peu faisait un bien fou

Mais Sam ne savait plus faire la grasse mat, c'est ainsi qu'à 9h, il ouvra doucement les yeux, se laissant bercer pas la douce lumière qui filtrait à travers l'ouverture des épais rideau, il paressait un peu dans son lit, profitant du clame et du silence.

Il n'avait pas vu sa mère depuis un petit moment déjà, et Derek était partie en voyage scolaire, visité il ne savait plus quelle école d'art en Espagne, et il avait enfin fait la connaissance de quelques personnes de son année, un certain Chester, par exemple, selon les messages.

Tout semblait aller enfin pour le mieux pour son meilleur ami, et Sam en était soulagé, ils avaient tout deux passer de difficiles moments, Sam surtout pour voir son meilleur ami plonger dans un gouffre sans fond, fait d'alcool et de drogues, de chagrin et de deuil.

Mais tous ça était derrière eux maintenant, Derek s'intéressait à nouveau à sa libido et semblait enfin plaisanter comme avant, Et Sam pouvait reprendre sa vie sans inquiéter Lydia, la mère de Derek, ni passer sa vie dans l'appartement de celui-ci, et ainsi s'inquiéter de son propre avenir.

Il finit par sortir de son lit alla se préparer un café : il était toujours surpris de constater que le sol sous ses pieds nu était tiède,, une température agréable qui ne nécessitait pas de porter des chaussures, et Sam, qui adorait être pieds nu, en était très satisfait.

Le café était devenu sa drogue depuis quelques années déjà, et s'il n'avait pas ces 5 tasses minimum par jour, il en était grandement contrarié. Alors, quand il vit une lettre avec son nom joliment écrit sur le dessus de la cafetière dernier cri qu'il possédait, il se dit que définitivement, Mr. Lived les connaissait tous très bien.

il décolla délicatement l'enveloppe et se mit à lire la missive.

Cher résident,

Mr. Lived est tout à fait enchanté de vous savoir parmi nous, et il tient à ce que votre séjour entre ces murs soit le plus productif possible. Je sais que vous ne manquerez pas de le remercier à chaque occasion qui se présentera. Et justement, il y a un petit quelque chose qui chagrine M. Lived. Il apprécierait beaucoup si vous alliez demander quelques conseils à Allie O’Connel pour améliorer votre garde-robe.

Sam ne comprenait pas très bien pourquoi Mr Lived voulait qu'il fasse ça. Il ne s'était jamais vraiment intéressé à la mode, mais il n'était pas débraillé non plus. Il pensait vraiment avoir bon gout et savoir faire preuve de classe quand le moment s'y prêtait. 

Bon, très bien, faisons ça.

Act : Mission 002 (Self-Para)

Ce matin là, Riley se sentait plus que minable, elle avait passer sa nuit à dragueur une hétérosexuelle ouverte, mais tellement peureuse, qu'elle n'avait pas réussi à conclure, Riley avait payé des verres toute la nuit, pour voir sa proie fuir comme si sa vie en dépendant, et Riley n'avait pas eu le temps de trouver une roue de secours, elle en était grandement frustré.

Le jour avait commencé à se lever quand elle avait quitté la boite dans lequel elle s'était trouvé : Elle aurait du s'en douter dés le départ, les boites qui font payer le plus chers abritent les bourgeois les lus prudes, mais l'argent que Mr. Lived mettait à disposition donnait envie de se complaire dans le luxe.

Elle avait décidé de faire un tour dans la vie avant de rentrer, elle était beaucoup trop énervé et non satisfaite pour réussi à dormir, et ce soir, sa main ne l'aurait pas aider de toute façon. Elle amait New-York à cette heure là de la journée, quand tout était encore endormi, mais ou le soleil commençait déjà paresseusement sa course. 

il y avait quelques personne qui se promenait aussi, quelques jeunes accompagnés de leurs chiens, des petits vieux et leur sac rempli de course du marché, des gens pressés pour aller au travail, et toutes ces vies mélangés avait réussi à calmer un peu Riley, rien ne valait une promenade matinale, pour faire passer une gueule de bois et une frustration. 

Elle avait donc pris le chemin du Meander East Building. Elle passa devant le portier qui ne manifesta aucune réaction, un simple bonjour poli, qui prouvait qu'il en avait vu bien d'autres. Elle se dépêcha de monter dans l'ascenseur et arriva bien vite à son étage. 

Elle enleva ses chaussures en sortant de l'ascenseur et apprécia le contact doux de la moquette du couloir, elle se dirigea vers sa porte et l'ouvrit avant de balancer ses chaussures dans un coin. 

Alors qu'elle allait poser ses clefs, dans le bol de l'entrée, elle arrêta son geste quand elle vit une joli enveloppe dans le dit bol : son nom était joliment calligraphié sur le devant d'une encre sombre, et Riley se dit que cette lettre sentait très mauvais. 

Elle prit la lettre dans ces mains et la soupesa un instant, elle se dirigea ensuite vers le salon, face à la table basse et s'assit en tailleur en relavant sa jupe au maximiun pour pas qu'elle la gêne. 

Elle finit par déchirer l'envellopeet lu rapidement ce qu'il y était marqué
