revealheart replied to your post: :: Fuck This Shit, I’m Out ::
really…wow, i can’t imagine telling csa victims to go play in traffic simply for being uncomfortable. really proving what a piece of scum you are. using the word triggered and bothered feefees in the year 2020 too sure says a lot about you and absolutely none of it is good. so once again, here i am not on anon, putting up.
You shouldn’t’ve put up
You’re bad at this.
Then again this coming from the same crowd who call a 25-26 yr old mexican woman a 30 yr old white man named Dave, so I suppose this is about the level of being genuine I can expect
“wHaT’s ThE dIfFeReNcE??” okay, let’s step into make-believe land where you weren’t deliberately rewriting my words and are playing dumb
difference is, the shitstirrers are never victims
victims historically try to influence positive change in the real world if so inclined to take action, or they keep to themselves and just steer clear of such things to keep from being reminded of the past trauma
So, there’s a certain incident that’s been going on the past couple of days. To be honest, I wanted to drop this post about it a whole lot sooner, but out of respect for the victim of this in question, I chose to hold off until it hit a pretty evident conclusion.
Because god only knows if I said anything, it’d be used against her in some ridiculous fashion given my proximity to the circumstances.
Yeah, I was keeping up with the play-by-play on all of this, and frankly, it’s abhorrent.
And no, I’m not putting this under a read more; we’re going PSA on this.
Seeing as how this all went down without any kind of human decency from any of the guilty parties, I have no intention on being gentle with any of you.
So! Let’s start with the weasel responsible who’s been making the rounds on anon.
I saw those asks she was sent.
Our little firestarter, hiding behind that mask? You’re a gutless snake.
“Oh but- but defending yourself just makes you look MORE SUSPICIOUS you really should just admit it tho” fuck that and fuck you, I can read between the lines. “If I try and look amicable, maybe I’ll get you to bow down”, that’s what your ass is looking for, and don’t you dare pretend anything otherwise.
Don’t think you’re clever or unique; I’ve seen this exact shit too many times before. It’s always the same with your type. You stir up the most ridiculous, inflammatory slander, you mask yourself on anon and act all mousy and friendly to get them to budge just a little pretending you’re some totally-different-stranger, and then you go all in with the most hurtful and abrasive shit you can muster now that you’ve gotten your foot in the door. You’re a manipulator, and you disgust me.
But above all? You’re pathetic.
Lemmie guess, no job? No meaningful relationships or hobbies that keep you occupied? That’s the usual impetus. You have nothing going for you and no better use of your time; the only way you can get any kind of excitement in your life is to try and ruin someone on social media, sling as much dirt you can their way, try and turn their friends and other contacts against them, make up some salacious bullshit or start spreading some asinine rumors to spice that up however you can, and you drag it out. You drag it out to milk as much empty schadenfreude as you can get before you have to return to your miserable doldrums without a target to harass.
Funny thing is, for all the hurt you’ve done? She actually has stable income and a life. That’s likely far more than anybody’ll be able to say about you for a good, long time.
Oh, but we’re not done yet.
Mods, mods, mods -- let’s talk about you for a hot minute.
That person spent so much time being worried over this, presented clear and concise reasoning for her position, wanted to make sure she handled this as properly and well-organized as possible on your account -- and none of it was considered at all. Mods, I know full damn well you didn’t even try to give it a look. All you kept replying with was, “yeah, but we’re triggered by the idea so you’re out though, lul”. Even those she knew didn’t try to actually vouch for her, they just kept informing her of the childishly stubborn refusal to budge. You couldn’t be more transparent in this behavior if you were made of fucking glass.
There wasn’t an ounce of good faith in any of this. She kept trying to play by your standards but you kept shifting the goalpost every time because you had no intention of fair assessment to begin with. Words of wisdom from one of my Psych teachers, “You can’t have a discussion with someone who’s already decided for themselves that anything you say is wrong.”
Your heads are getting too big. I mean, it started way back with banning entire series from application, not even R-rated or pornographic, just exclusively because they bothered your little feefees, but the slow burn’s been encroaching. Now you’re making irresponsible judgement calls and acting on sensationalism rather than anything remotely resembling good sense.
The fact that at least one of you has bias in this instance towards getting rid of her because she has muses you want doesn’t help matters.
This exact shit is why citta-alverea sunk, and you’re not gonna be too far behind at this rate. A bullshit incident like this is just where it starts.
I mean, keeping someone around who nuked the masterlist because of relationship issues certainly wasn’t a good start in the first place.
So, out just like that, without anything of an honest say?
Well, nifty. So am I.
It should go without saying. I mean, you’ve tarred and feathered my friend on a whim with one of the worst labels you can put on a person, and you think “just try again in six months teehee” helps the situation? As if any of the people she’s RPing with are still going to be here, to speak nothing of being able to come back after what you’ve just done; fuck off, nobody’s dumb enough to buy that.
Besides. To begin with, the job that just got started with her Roll Caskett? Obviously can’t proceed now.
I tried to get Kunio involved with other Atlus muses, but I keep getting passed over, so there’s no point in him sticking around if Ume’s gone.
And for crying out loud, I apped Arthur for her to begin with.
So, that’s about the long and short of it. Though I do have some specific words in parting to give--
@gungnirclad, @beyond-use, thank you for your interest in the guild. Sorry about this turn of events; I’d been drafting up some introductory job things, but seems that won’t be taking off. I wish you luck in finding other jobs for your muses!
@edgeworthwrightanythingagency, assuming this place is being checked anymore, Kunio’s out in the investigators as well. Hey, upside, there’s another open investigator slot for muses so inclined.
For all the Fate muses who gave Arthur a great opening, thanks, seriously. I got a pretty universally warm reception, and it didn’t go unappreciated. Never forget Roman is guilty of brownie crimes.
Mods? ...I can’t really say anything. Pretty sure you’re beyond help.
Our little upstart who’s probably so proud of themselves? [ by request of the actual victim in this situation, I’ve been asked to specify the obvious that this is not speaking in regards to real csa victims of which the instigator is obviously not, not for you jokers’ sake ] you are bad and you should feel bad
Oh, and the responsible party who started this shit; if you want to go stirring the pot in my inbox for speaking out against this?
Go ahead. Anon’s off. Put up or shut up.
So, the lore for Mega Man Legends is hella deep and pretty much all contained within the sequel -- which is the game less people know about for some reason.
In the interest of that, for anybody curious and wanting a better understanding of just what I go on about, I’ve created a handy chonological bulletpoint sequence of events! Read on, if you’re so inclined!
Elysium is Born
Following one of Mega Man X5′s endings, Mega Man X, last creation of Dr. Light, chooses to finally ensure the safety of the surviving humanity after the fall of Eurasia by beginning work on the space colony “Elysium”, meant to be an artificial paradise where people could live in safety.
This project is eventually completed, and all remaining human life is migrated from the devastated planet’s surface into the care of the units housed on Elysium.
Centuries pass, with life support systems allowing humans to live well beyond their projected life expectancy, technology advances to the point where reploids end up phased out in favor of biomechanical units with biology similar to carbon-based lifeforms hybridized seamlessly with cybernetic components.
The new units become part of Elysium’s Master System, a colony-housed society with hierarchy amidst the units there, all centered around the ideal of caring for their human wards.
The Master System becomes headed by two sister “Mother Units”, Sera and Yuna, who produce and oversee further others to serve the Master System, upon which all subsequent units emerging after are as their subordinate offspring. At the same time, the Purifier Unit line to succeed the Maverick Hunters from olden days is formed, in order to deal with “Aberrant” units who malfunction or otherwise become a threat. Amongst this number is the First-Class Purifier Unit, Mega Man Trigger.
Over time, the human life aboard Elysium begins to naturally dwindle and die out. In order to combat this threat, Sera and Yuna take DNA samples of all that remain to be stored in a genetic Library in the heart of Elysium, a chamber charged to Sera personally to ensure that no existing force could threaten them.
In an attempt to ensure human life will flourish once more, Sera and Yuna coordinate with the oldest-living human, the Master, in creating a fodder race in the image of humans using the Master System units’ design as a foundation. They mass-seed the Earth, now referred to by codename of “Terra”, with with these life forms, thus creating the Carbon race.
The Carbon race eventually leads to unsatisfactory results in proving mankind can once again live on Terra. In order to reset the process and try again, Sera creates the Carbon Reinitialization System -- a process by which all Carbon life is erased from the planet to create a clean slate.
The Master, Trigger, and the Mother Units
As the Master loses all other human companions and becomes a revered existence within Elysium that no one dares to regard personally, he seeks out another in the form of Mega Man Trigger, chosen personally to be his attendant functionally while in reality for the purpose of becoming his close companion.
As Sera and Yuna repeatedly attempt to see if Terra is suitable for life periodically, the repeated extinctions cause the remnants of each Carbon line’s budding civilizations to coalesce with the lingering traces of the ancient human race, resulting in countless ruins becoming strewn across Terra.
As the Master and Mega Man Trigger spend greater time together, becoming inseparable over the years, the Mother Units’ behavior begins to alter. Yuna comes to adopt an affectionate, personally-invested attitude between Trigger, the Master and her sister, acting as the group’s compass and mediator. Sera, however, grows frustrated, as the Master never seems to regard her efforts the same way he does Trigger’s company. This causes her to develop a jealous rivalry of Trigger, while at the same time growing more complicated feelings towards him.
Three thousand years after the Mother Units were created, the Master has finally grown tired of his forcibly-extended life. Without the other two noticing, the Master charges Mega Man Trigger to take him in a pod down to Terra’s surface, so he can behold the forming of early Carbon society with his own eyes -- not disclosing to Trigger that he would be unable to survive outside Elysium without its life support systems.
Making landfall on what would in the future become Calbania Island, the Master is humbled seeing how the early people coming together, finding simple pleasures in life, and comes to realize the cold, sterile luxury of immortality he’d been sheltered by was fundamentally wrong. Coming to accept the Carbon race as humankind’s true successors, the Master gives Trigger a “good luck charm” containing his genetic code-- the key to managing the Library’s computer, to either begin the mass-cloning of humanity on Terra, or to erase it all. He makes a final request of Trigger to do the latter, to put an end to the Master System so that the Carbon race would be free of Elysium’s godlike control over them. Then, peacefully, the last human passes away.
As Mega Man Trigger returns to Elysium in order to fulfill the Master’s last wish and put an end to the system, Sera reacts violently upon discovering what has come to pass. Unable to accept what she believes to be the Master discarding her, she decrees Trigger the highest-priority Aberrant for aiding in the Master’s death, declaring open war on him with all of Elysium.
The End of Elysium
Untold years of battle between the endless forces of Elysium and Trigger alone begin. Yuna, for her part, finds herself conflicted in holding love for both her friend and her sister equally, on top of being torn between siding with family and siding with the one she knows would know best the Master’s wishes. Unable to take side with either, she removes herself to be a neutral overseer -- taking with her the keys Sera would need for clearance to activate the Carbon Reinitialization Program for the planet.
Trigger and Elysium’s battle eventually makes its way to Terra. On a locale called Kattelox Island, Bureaucratic Unit Third-Class Mega Man Juno decides to activate the Carbon Reinitialization Program for his territory specifically, calling down the tower of Eden from orbit to rain fire on the island. Mega Man Trigger makes to stop this, facing Juno in single combat and dispatching him handily, sealing him back in the Main Gate and closing off all paths to it.
Sera finally loses all patience with Yuna as well as her own failing forces, and ventures to Terra herself to eliminate Trigger with her own hands. Trigger and Sera have their final battle on the unnamed landmass in the polar north, largely destroying the island in their clash before mutually striking each other down, both mortally wounded.
In order to preserve himself, Mega Man Trigger backs up all his personal data into a small, monkey-like storage unit named “Data”, before an automatic restoration function kicks in. With most of his body destroyed, what remains undergoes a total biological regression, self-reincarnating as an infant.
Sera manages to remain conscious in her condition, as Yuna arrives in the aftermath of their battle. Once more, she demands Yuna give her the keys for the Library so she could fulfill her purpose to erase all Carbon life and restore humankind, but Yuna refuses. Having accepted the Master’s will, Yuna seals Sera into a prismatic stasis field, doing the same with the resetting Trigger and Data. Trigger and Data are then sent away, transported deep into the aquatic ruin of Nino Island. Yuna then chooses to remain with Sera on the polar island for all time, manipulating the weather to create a blizzard too harsh for any living thing or transportation to pass through. The island would eventually come to be known as “Forbidden Island”.
Unbeknownst to either, early Carbons had been in the area. They had missed the final battle with Trigger and Sera, but arrived in time to witness what transpired between Sera and Yuna. The two would become regarded as goddesses, with Sera known as the “Goddess of the Sky”, who “guards the record of ages”, while Yuna became known as the “Goddess of the Earth”, who “guards the keys”.
Pre-Legends
Centuries later, famed Digger couple Banner and Matilda Caskett chose to be the ones to penetrate the barrier of Forbidden Island and uncover its secrets. Leaving their infant daughter Roll with Matilda’s father, Digger legend Barrel Caskett, the two embark on a dropship meant to penetrate the very epicenter of the perpetual storm, where one can successfully break through.
The expedition turns for the worst, as the pair are unprepared for the Reaverbots guarding the island. Matilda ends up fatally wounded, while Banner loses an arm and vanishes, eventually turning up on the Calinca continent with all memory lost from physical trauma.
Yuna discovers the dying Matilda in her territory. Feeling responsible for what has befallen her, Yuna decided to save her by means of nanotechnology and portions of her own being to heal her wounds. However, the procedure ends up compromising Yuna’s own body. With no other recourse, she transmits herself in her entirety into Matilda, becoming one with her and putting Matilda’s consciousness into dormancy while she lives on within her. Yuna’s body is then put into the dropship the Casketts arrived in, sealed within a barrier for safekeeping.
Upon hearing what has befallen his daughter and her husband, Barrel Caskett resolves himself to retire from active Digging to raise his granddaughter. However, he decides to embark on one final digout before being done for good -- one within the Nino Ruins.
At the bottom of the Nino Ruins, Barrel discovers the stasis prism that had been buried there ages before. Touching it, the prism disappears, revealing a brown-haired infant and a small, robotic monkey. Unsure what to think, Barrel decides to take the boy home with him for the time being.
Upon bringing the boy home, the unknown baby comes into contact with the infant Roll, who immediately displays favor towards him. On seeing this, Barrel decides to take in the boy just as well. However, recognizing the child is clearly abnormal and bizarre circumstances may arise in the future, he opts not to adopt the boy into their family, but to raise him alongside Roll as his apprentice. The infant boy is given his own name: Rock Volnutt.
You are the Conflicted Hero. The Conflicted Hero isn't exactly an Unwilling Hero in that he knows what he has to do and wants to do it...but rather than enjoying being a hero, he feels morally compelled to do it, and is often tempted to quit.

Expansions had been suggested at the work place, more storage, more hives, space for the staff. It had all sounded like an excellent idea to her, though Tom had lamented a lack of materials as well as the means to procure them while the city was still recovering.
She had taken it upon herself, of course. It’s not like she particular did much there in terms of running the place, and for twelve hours a day she could be quite active! So she’d journeyed out to the Mistwood to try and gather some natural resources.
Stood next to a great tree she held the Lifehunt out wide, slashing across its trunk and severing it from the ground in one clean swing. Too clean perhaps; the rest of it didn’t even sway afterwards. Well, no matter, she simply gave it a push and it started falling forwards. Huh, blue. That’s not a colour she normally saw in the w-
“Look out!”
The stranger seemed to turn around, just as the tree fell, showing a spiky shock of brown hair, before the tree blocked all view.
The roar of a loud motor sounded, before the falling tree was stopped in midair, for but a moment-- before the tip of a spinning drill punched clean through the trunk, causing the wood to burst apart.
“Hoo...”
What lie beyond the dispersing dust was a young man in blue armor, wiping his brow with the back of his hand; his left hand specifically. The reason for that being, in place of his right arm was a huge, industrial-looking steel drill over half the size of his body, still raised-- undoubtedly what had destroyed the tree.
“Yikes, that caught me by surprise...” He now turned towards the towering half-dragon, taken aback for a moment by the sheer size of the lady-- but only that momentary surprise, now facing her with an air of unamusement. “Are you the one who just dropped that on me--?”
“Surprise!? That’s all you’re saying?! Look at all of this! This is more than just a simple surprise! Geez, how could you keep it to yourself for so long!? What else have you hidden from me!” In a short instant, she had already thrown her arms around his shoulders in a very eager hug. Shaking him as she jumped up and down, unable to stay still. Her hug barely lasted, as she had to admire even closer the finer details. Despite how she spoke as if lecturing him, it was obvious how happiness was pouring out of her voice.
“Rock, you–….!!” Speechless, Roll continued motioning at everything with one hand as if he had not seen it already. Her eyes couldn’t believe themselves as of yet, her heart swelling from joy and amazement at the same time. It was such a huge place, all for them.
All to continue their work, their dreams. And he put every bit of home here.
“….You’re too much! Seriously, how did you do it!? I– It’s great! No, it’s incredible! I–” Allowing a cool down moment, the mechanic let out a long sigh so she could gather her thoughts. That was a whole looot to take in. Her flustered face had yet to decide how to express her excitement. There were not enough words to properly display how happy she was, the best option was to use the regular way of conveying gratitude: “Thank you.”
It wasn’t a competition and she had no reason to compare both but next time, she’ll definitively repay him tenfold. Thankfully, she hadn’t thrown away the box a moment ago. Clothes were useful, weren’t they? An outfit to match her own, carefully picked out with that in mind. It was a tad embarrassing to admit but she had written even worse in her diary, so it was fine to let her affection slip.
“It’s not as good or big as your surprise but I hope you like it. You know, for all you’ve done and… to think of me once in a while when I’m not around.”
Rock took the box in both hands, hesitating at first, wondering how he should proceed in the moment. Should he just-- take it home, and look at it later, or...?
No. No, he wanted to open it now. She brought it for him to open here. Rock took a swallow of nervous anticipation, resting the box in one arm and grasping the bottom of the lid. Come to think of it, didn’t this box look like the kind of one that came from a clothing store...?
He fell silent.
What lay nestled inside, folded with care, was a complete ensemble. A steely grey coat and pants, a form-fitting black undershirt, thick-soled shoes... He understood the style. He understood it right away; this was... This was a carefully-chosen, direct counterpart for Roll’s own clothes. But what truly got him was what lay on top.
A hat. A squared-off cap, tall to accommodate for his hair-- with a metal plate on the front.
This wasn’t something she just picked up. No, this was custom-ordered.
Made to look like the hat she’d been left by her father, right there on her head.
That most closely-held item of hers, she wanted to share with him.
“...I-I...” Huh. His cheek was wet, for some reason. Raising a hand, he wiped it away. “I’m... I’m glad for this. For this just-- being what it is. Thanks, Roll.”
He calmly set the hat back down on top, carefully placed the lid back on, and turned away, walking a few paces towards their new property.
“I’ve, uh... I’ve been working towards this for a while. It’s been hard to; I could never seem to get any of my gear back to get started.” He threw his arms out to either side. “Then, you showed up,and suddenly things started coming together for me!”
Rock let his arms drop, head tilted back towards the sky, letting silence pervade for a good minute or so.
“...Things never really-- changed up there, you know?”
He raised an arm to rub at the other uncomfortably, turning back towards Roll now, eyes cast down. The usual light in his eyes was lacking, for the moment.
“I was just doing my best to get by, on Elysium. Was stuck subsiding on life support all the time. No food, no sunlight, just-- nothing.” He bared that embarrassed grin same as usual, chuckling quietly. “Now suddenly, life’s moving for me again. I guess this...goes to show just how much I need you, huh?”
Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves, he strides towards her abruptly, closing the distance between them. Reaching forward, he seeks out her hands, taking them in his own.
“Listen, Roll -- I know that...it bothered you. Seeing me-- different, then how you helped make me.”
He remembered perfectly clear the complicated look on her face, seeing the shifts in his armor, the replaced pack, the adjustments to his Buster; all work that Yuna and Sera had done on him to help last on Elysium, bringing him closer to his original format of Trigger. She did her best to disguise it, but he knew her all too well to be as fooled as he’d pretended to be.
The look on her face, that made it seem like someone had stolen that from her.
“That’s why I...tried to bring a bit of home to this; I just... I just needed you to know that, even after all that’s happened, I never forgot what matters most to me.” He squeezes her hand tightly. “I needed you to know I’m still your R--”
He cuts himself off almost-instantly, eyes widening and face beginning to turn red as he catches how far he was going. He jerks his head to the side, giving a few forced coughs.
“I, uh...” His voice fades to murmurs, unable to look her in the eye. “N-Never mind.”
Any “ancient” beast could be worth some attention, at least that’s what she’d gone into the Mistwood thinking. An old forest king complete with his own legends in the city? Perfect! How interesting! Perhaps he was yet another descendant of her niece, she’d thoroughly looked forward to a decent chat.
However, that’s not how it had gone down. The beast was yet another ornery drake and wouldn’t even give her the time of day.
Annoying.
Annoying.
À̶̡̢̢n͏̛̀n̷̶̡̨͘o̸̵̶͘͡y̸̨įn͜҉͞͏g̢͢͞
This wasn’t a fun game! This wasn’t chaotic! It was slow, it was boring it was pedantry. Oh, it was a blessing to be outside the trapezohedrons, but this was such a separation from who she was that it was starting to wear thin. Even aside from everything that had been taken, fundamental truths just weren’t… True! Maddening! And not the good kind of madness! She’d been patient until now, and she knew she’d be fine again tomorrow. But now, right now? She was unhappy.
She needed something basic, something raw. There was something in these ruins, she could smell it. It would have to do.
So she stalked through the broken stone structures in the form of a terrific spider like creature of monstrous proportions. Her body was a strange, fractured glass refracting light of many different colours with what looked like a cocoon of prismatic webbing wrapped around something stuck to her abdomen. She strode on at least a dozen different legs, legs that periodically struck through weakened walls as she searched for something out of place.
Now that Rock’s long-awaited place of business was beginning to get underway, it was high time he finally branched out into the unknown to start getting a better lay of the land. When a Digger lacked information or a Spotter equipped for geological radar, the only way to map out the terrain was the old-fashioned way: getting out there and getting a scope of the land yourself.
Given this was this was the Mistwood...
...it was just as well that he had held off on getting established here until he got some of his armaments back.
Small tires squealed against petrified ground, the sound of a motor ringing out through the fog-heavy thicket. The young Digger burst out from between a line of trees, his skates in full reverse as he took aim back into the shadows he’d just emerged from. Only moments later, a bevy of shrieking, clambering figures exploded out after him in feral pursuit, indeterminable limbs clawing at the earth as they flung themselves after him amidst olden wood and dilapidated ruin.
A sigh of relief left her lips, if only she had the capacity of arrive faster… Times like these made her miss terribly the support car, which would have come in handy more than ever. Public transport wasn’t as fun when you were in a hurry!
He was closer to the area than Roll but he still worried of arriving late, it was painfully cute and she couldn’t hold back a giggle. That’s Rock for you.
“Yes, something for you. Is that wrong?” He didn’t respond in a way she would have expected. Roll tilted her head, a bit confused in his reaction. What was he hiding? Only one way to find out! Placing his present under her arm, she took in his hand.
“Alright, you show me first then. Lead the way.”
“I hope your surprise isn’t a room full of stray animals, though…”
“No, nothing’s wrong! I just didn’t--” ‘Didn’t expect it’, yeah that would play well. Even if he had reason for that mindset. He cuts himself off with a throat clearing, gesturing her along. “--let’s, uh, let’s just keep going.”
Rock continued leading her down the sidewalk, heading about halfway down the block-- before abruptly stopping, and turning to the left. What lay beyond was a pathway leading up a slight hill incline, a moderately-sized building sitting in the middle of the lot. Two stories, with a larger first floor, and what appeared to be a garage leading in from the eastern side, with plenty of room to work in.
Obviously, it was a newly-acquired lot for a private business. At first, Roll might be confused by why exactly Rock would be showing her this...but once she had a better look at it, there was a detail she surely should notice:
The place was painted to look like the Flutter.
This was theirs.
“Ehehe...” And there was that innocent sheepishness right on cue, Rock rubbing the back of his head. “S-Surprise?”
