17.11.19 - a little back bend training. Really trying to open up my upper & mid back, instead of compensating by hyperextending through my shoulders and lumbar spine.

17.11.19 - a little back bend training. Really trying to open up my upper & mid back, instead of compensating by hyperextending through my shoulders and lumbar spine.
30.01.20 - another progress photo. The difference in this one is a lot more noticeable - straighter arms, straighter legs, chest higher, head further back. I hope this progress continues!
05.12.19 - lunchtime stretch. I’m pleased I can get my chest to the wall with my hands on blocks, because the last time I tried this I struggled even without blocks. I guess that means some progress is happening! Not there with two blocks yet, but I’ll work on it.
I’m teaching later, so I’ll probably do a leg stretch afterwards too.
28.11.19 - post-teaching stretching. I’ve been mostly stretching at home lately so I haven’t taken any pictures as there’s no room to put my camera, but I’m keeping up with it. I’m trying not to take too many pictures anyway, because I want to focus on the feeling, not on whether I’ve improved from one week to the next. Because that’s not likely to happen anyway. I might try a comparison picture in a few months.
I think I’m starting to feel a little looser, but it’s hard to tell. Stretching journeys are long and changes happen gradually. Not unlike learning a language, I guess.
