Hi, I’m Eileen... a twenty-something, Fil-Am, working woman. Welcome to my online visual diary. Today’s post is dedicated to my daily ‘office make up routine’. I used to never wear make up, and had no clue how to do it. But ever since I got a 9-to-5 corporate job, I was required to wear it every day. I started off hating cosmetics and the beauty industry, but soon I’ve grown to love it. Bare face is still my preference, but I must admit it’s fun to play with blush and mascara!
The List:
1. Thayers Rose Petal Facial Mist Toner - This works great as a light moisturizer to prime the face if you have combo to oily skin types. Spritz generously, air dry, and onto the next!
2. UD Eyeshadow Primer Potion - to prime the eyelids and under the eyes.
3. Dior Airflash Foundation in 302 - give it a good shake and spray directly on a slightly damp RT blender... bounce, bounce, bounce and blend away!
4. Laura Mercier Translucent Powder - using the RT setting brush, dust all over the T-zone, smile lines, and under the eyes.
5. Mac All That Glitters - a warm copper shadow with a frost finish - swipe all over the lid for that beautiful rose gold effect.
6. Glossier Boy Brow in Brown - to tame bushy brows!
7. Glossier Lash Slick - for fluttery, wispy and long doll-like lashes.
8. Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam - apply with fingers on the high points of the cheeks for a soft, feminine glow.
9. Glossier Play Vinylic Lip in Pony - lately I’ve been drawn to this juicy natural pout! But this category often varies, as lip colors are my favorite make up item!
10. UD All Nighter Setting Spray - fresh, smooth, and light... simply put, LOVE this.
And that’s all. This was so much fun to make! What are your ‘go-to’ makeup items for work?
Smile Always,
E.
