Teaching her right early. But maybe too early! Last week, we watched ‘Enter the Dragon’ after Misspook finishing a book on Bruce Lee. She doesn’t like seeing people getting hurt or killed, just yet. Olive:

It was my mom’s birthday. I don’t do anything on her birthday, nor do I do anything at any time of the year. Those ‘things’ include having flowers around her, giving water/food in front, or have a little chime, even an incense. If you come from an Asian family you would know. I don’t do any of that. But on this day I at least wanted to let them know that it was her birthday and maybe have them say hi to the photo.

I told Olive that and she replies, “I always say hi to her whenever I am in front of the picture. And I make the twins say hi too.”

She knew all along... she was WAY ahead of me. Way ahead.

Well, virtually, I think I am about to go underwater on my way to France. In reality, I have been all over creation on this side of the world for the past few days! Freedom day. First day of school. I mean, absolutely first day TO GO TO SCHOOL for the twins. It was a spirit day. The spirit was ‘tourist’, or dress up in a style of a country you want to go. She dressed up as a Parisienne, with a beret and a stripe shirt(dress), along with mustache(washable marker) and a home made baguette-sidekick🤣. After school, they were so elated #misspook8 could not stop chatting since she got home till bed time, and #agathap5 goes ‘This is the best school EVER!!!’ Phew. We were a little worried, but everything went well. They all ate good dinner, and went to bed happy. I think it was time. Misspook packed her own lunch too! Needless to say we enjoyed our quiet time... It flew by. Oh what a day.
