so after he finds out about your ability, his sole purpose is to protect you at all costs
one, because you're an astounding healer and a very important part of every mission you go on
and two, because you're too valuable, you matter too much to him. he absolutely cannot afford to lose you <//3
mans freaks out so much the first time you heal a fatal wound and faint

and if anyone dares to even clear their throat in your direction, they better have the life insurance ready bc chūya ain't playing around
maybe a little bit too concerned for your liking, but he just doesn't want to see you in any type of pain :((
after you reassure him countless times that you're "perfectly fine" and that you "got used to this", he calms down a little
i feel like he would treat this like he would treat period pain lmaoo
snacks and a warm blanket are his go to's (if the two of you are in the comfort of your house)
on the many occasions that you aren't home, however, he's there to catch you (in case you faint), and he's at your service on the battlefield (and not only) 24/7. literally a jewel of a boyfie (*´˘`*)♡

you had the discussion right before an important mission and he looked as dismissive as ever, so you just briefly mentioned the aftermath of your ability
you were pretty sure he didn't even hear you, but there was no time to clarify
the mission went smoothly in the beginning, hoping he didn't notice the way you flinched after you healed tanizaki's scratched arm
all was nice and dandy until naomi was aimed at and shot
you acted fast, making a beeline for her while drop-kicking everyone and everything in your path
you knelt down to heal her, briefly aware that dazai was now in close proximity to the two of you, even though he seemed to be busy with some bulky dudes in suits earlier
the moment you faint, however, he's by your side in a span of seconds, one hand holding you close to his chest, the other clutching his gun tightly, aiming at whoever dared to get closer with that empty look in his eyes and an unsettling grin gracing his features
and if the enemy knows what's good for their life, they'll stay away from all of you guys
"wakey, wakey, gorgeous :>" is the first thing you hear as your eyes struggle to open, your mind working hard to help you figure out where were you and what happened
he explained it all to you calmly, but you could see it in the way his eyes glistened a little and his hand squeezed yours tighter that he was more than relieved that you were safe and talking
"you scared me a little bit out there, dove" he said softly as he started trailing kisses all over your increasingly blushing face. his eyes then bore into yours, beautiful patterns swirling in the irises that you so loved and cherised. "never leave my side again."
and then, after this beautiful heartfelt moment, came the constant jabs and puns. his dark humor pretty much just spanned out of control 💀💀
"you're going to be able to heal me if i fall off that building, right, belladonna? :D"
"shut it before i make sure no one gets to you in time 😃"

doesn't really know what to do in order to comfort you when you're in pain, so he just stays close and lets you use his body as whatever you need in the moment (a pillow, something to lean on, a shield, you name it)

she knows how this feels like better than anyone else (after all, she's got a powerful healing ability to match)
nods understandingly when you tell her, reassuring you that she will do anything that's in her power so that you get the least damage to yourself after using your ability
doesn't bat an eye when you fall to the ground, defeated, instead she just situates herself in front of you and whatever you guys were fighting and she pulverizes everything in her wake, while instructing tanizaki to use his ability to keep you safe
since the pain can't be treated physically, she feels slightly useless at times, not being able to use her own ability in order to heal you (although she will never admit this to you)
when you tell her that her presence makes it all more bearable, though, her chest will tighten, her brain will go full autopilot aand,
now you've unlocked: clingy aki-chan uwu
whenever you end up in the infirmary, she will be by your bedside as often as she's allowed to, sometimes prioritizing you over other patients and ngl that was such a relief to the others lol because we all know (and love) yosano's way of dealing with the boys' injuries

you don't know how or when to explain it to him, so you just don't really mention it at all and hope for the best
obviously he found out in the worst way possible
the two of you were on a mission and you clashed with akutagawa
you were winning and the odds seemed to be in your favour, until a new enemy popped up, seemingly out of nowhere, and started viciously attacking akutagawa
would it have been easier to let that strong fella finish akutagawa off? maybe. would the guilt of leaving him behind have eaten you both alive because it would go against your morals and principles? absolutely.
so you did the only plausible thing in that situation
you knelt next to akutagawa's battered body and went to work, while atsushi handled the other guy
after some exhausting work and half-whispered prayers to whatever was above, you collapsed next to the now healing boy
"foolish child" he whispered as he inspected you, just as atsushi was making his way towards the two of you, ready to pick another fight
and then he saw you
and then he started freaking out big time
it all ended with a compromise, you between the two of them, one hand slung over atsushi's shoulder, the other one over akutagawa's (dazai had to do a double-take when he saw you guys because he couldn't actually believe it was happening)
you wake up it the infirmary, atsushi's head cradled into your side, one hand holding yours, the other one on top of your tummy 🥺
as soon as he feels you move, he shoots up straight in his chair
"y/n, baby! you're awake!! how are you feeling, love? are you okay now? what happened? :"<"
he's still wary after you tell him that you're used to it, but he trusts you enough to let you be
now this is my personal favourite way of comforting
bc his ability comes in handy
mans turns in tiger form and just,, lays on top of you in all of his furry glory
if he can't ease your pain physically, he can at least make it more endurable (plus hearing you giggle and feeling you run your hands through the softness of his white fur until it all wears off does wonders to his nerves and ego aww what a touch-starved baby 🤧)

he already respected you both, so it made little to no difference
but since he found out he started feeling like your junior a little, so he sometimes opens up to you and asks you questions about all sorts of things

at first you thought she didn't even notice, but then you started to realise that you were allowed to spend way more time in your lover's office that you normally should have been

little did you know kōyō strictly forbade anyone to come into the executive's office unnanounced, and even made sure herself that nobody was going to ruin your privacy and ofc she couldn't help but eavesdrop from time to time
