Years ago there was this booth at a con I went to, and heh, my dad was convinced to try one on and we both learned of its properties from a nice guy. I’m not sure where there are nearby professionals, but plenty of research should still do the trick.

yeah, that's what i was thinking.

the ideal would be to find a place where such a booth/stall would be set up (renaissance faire comes to mind), but barring that, i'll start to do some research.

Alright, I maintain this wasn't exactly my fault, but one time I was working on this huge shot that was like a week overdue, and I spent literally all day on it, and the next morning, when I went to finish it, everything I'd done was gone. Just gone. Now I KNOW I saved, I save every like ten minutes, but see, the software had been updated that week, and new to that version was auto-save, and I had disabled it, because saving slows down that program, and it's super inconvenient, and I was afraid it'd crash. But APPARENTLY, with auto-save off, it didn't save anything, and there was no recovery data, so I had to redo everything. My supervisor's supervisor came by to try and figure it out, they sent out a company-wide email, it was a huge mess. I didn't get in trouble, though; it got chalked up to new update glitches. And later that day there was beer and chips/salsa in the break room, so, not all bad.
