You search deep within yourself (and the internet!) That, and your family members. I had already travelled to Taiwan many times before and lived there for a bit (I wasn’t born there). I also have a huge interest in my heritage as someone of Taiwanese descent, so I entered the pageant to kinda prove to myself/show myself what I can make out of myself, my knowledge, and my pride in my culture. It helps a lot if you have knowledge prior from entering c:
