Theres nothing quite like @boopsie_daisy 😭💕 I’ve been a puddle of tears all morning after opening the SWEETEST surprise box from her. I’ve collected stickers my whole life and I used to make the front inside cover of each of my sketchbooks sort of a time-capsule mosaic of places I went and what I was in love with at the time I was working on that particular sketchbook. I always had a stash saved of the ones that were “too special” to use. A couple years ago when I started getting very very sick I made a personal declaration; nothing precious that makes me happy lives in a box. I took all my stickers and covered my archives boxes, turning them into their own special pieces of collage art. I’m so glad I did. Stickers I loved are now out in my life every day, making something functional into something I love. My great-grandmother did this 80 years ago with old Sears catalogs. She cut out pictures of all the things she liked, then decoupaged them onto boxes that she used for storing her Christmas decorations. I still have them. I hope someday Ransom will have my boxes and will smile when he sees them, just like I do.
