I love the Haar, Jill and Mist base convo. First of all just a great mechanic and device to set up the mood and battle beforehand. Really make Jill vs Haar have some weight that this isn’t just another fight. Again Tellius squeezes ever drop out of a character to highlight them within the story. Not disconnected from the actual battles and locked in supports. And it feels like an incredible reward for keeping everyone alive.

It’s also just nice that Jill and Mist get to hang out without needing to unlock it as a support. There’s something so charming about Jill watching over Mist as she plays in the snow. If this is the only interaction you get between them, there’s enough you can read into their dynamic and personalities. And because it’s not a support-Ike and Haar get to be involved in this moment.

Just please FE. I really need base convos back. Like you can even put it in your hub world with like a really special dialogue that can only happen at a certain point in the story if certain characters are alive.

Her lips purse. “No. They just came out of the oven, I don’t want you burning your mouth! Just because you can heal it right away doesn’t make it ok, Mist.” She flaps her hands to shoo the younger girl away from the cooling racks. “You can wait a few minutes-” she turns and swipes up a small bowl of cookie dough from the counter and offers it to the girl, a smile back on her face. “Here, you can have this in the meantime.”
