Farewell, Sarah Jane (2020)
When someone offends your family, and at this time you were frying cutlets.

Jenny's POV
“These are our people after all,” my husband calmly sipped another spoonful of soup.
“They are not! I don’t want to have anything in common with these murderers!” Johnny stood up abruptly and slammed his fist against the table, spilling the beer. “They killed Buck!”
“Johnny…” I tried to calm him, but Pete cut in, also already on his feet.
“If someone from our family killed a person, it doesn’t make us all murderers. You can’t deny your heritage, Johnny!”
“I don't give a fuck about heritage! I have a right to choose what I am, and I'm damn sure I'm not one of them!”
“We’re Aliens, you know it, and nothing can change that. But it doesn’t mean we’re responsible for Buck’s death,” Pete tried to control his voice, but I could feel the storm raging inside of him.
“No! I'm not one of them! I'm not them! I can't stand being here, and I know I can't get out either because of them! They've taken everything from us, can't you see it?! They've taken our friends, our life, our home! So screw all your Alien talk!”
“Don't you speak to me like that!” now Pete slammed on the table, and I flinched. “Those who did it aren't ALL of them! You're insulting yourself and your family! Just because some of them are murderers, you say that about the whole species, and that's wrong!”
“Please, stop…” I said faintly, and when they didn't react, I shouted, “Quit that!”
“I won't until he changes his attitude!” Pete growled.
“Are you insane?!” Johnny yelled in response.
“Shut up both of you!” I screamed, stretching out my arms to keep them apart, though the table still stood between them. “It's no use! It's been going on for five years now, and I can't stand it anymore, there wasn't a single meal without a quarrel in this shit of a house! Can't we at least try to live normally?”
“We can't because of those—” Johnny started, but I didn't let him finish.
“Enough! Go to your room.”
“I'm 23!”
“And I'm your mother!”
He glanced at me angrily but left the living area without another word, slamming the bedroom door behind him.
