When I played Baldur's Gate 3 first time, I chose a paladin drow (because I didn't want to have Shadowheart in my team). I'm now playing the game for the third time and I can say that I liked almost all of the characters in this game. Anyway, here is my first character of the game: Tomas [drow paladin]. They are kind and willing to help an unfortunate soul, even if they has to bear the consequences for their actions (and become the oathbreaker they eventually became). Thomas has principles, so sometimes they are pretty stubborn. This becomes especially problematic if you need to resolve the issue with more evil and cunning individuals. And in the end, for Thomas, Karlach’s life is more important than their happiness. --- In my first playthrough of the game, it was difficult for me to constantly endure the drama from Astarion, but now I just laugh at the way he dramatizes. He is funny in that serious world.
