In relation to the Bonnie Angst anon, what if Bonnie knew something was up with Monty and tried to warn others but everyone called him paranoid. This could lead to some,,, tense situations.

i think Bon would be lowkey about his discomfort about Monty potentially being Freddy's replacement 🥺

YES I love Dionysus he is my favorite god, I just wish I knew more about him. Do you have any fun facts 👀

The truth is, I've spoken more about figures related to him like Persephone and Demeter MORE than the actual Dionysus, so here's so random stuff that you may know or not, depending on how long you've been looking around this blog:

According to the Orphic hymn XL to the Eleusinian Demeter, she's Dionysus' companion ! Like many others, probably, but you hardly ever see them being related, which is kind of sad.

Another detail is that the three of them, Persephone, Demeter and Dionysus are related to snakes; the first one probably comes due to the whole "Zeus turning into something"; Demeter's connection comes from the Orphic Hymn XL as well; and Dionysus in one of the many myths, the one in which he's kidnapped by sailors, he turns the ropes into snakes.

His roman equivalent name "Bacchus" probably comes from his many hepithets: Βάκχος, Βακχεύς, βακχεῖον, βακχευτής .

According to Nono of Panopolis and some small fragments of other orphic related works, Zagreus is ALSO Dionysus, it's his birthname, the one he had before being reborn as Dionysus.

While the most common versions portray Zeus as his father ( yep, even in Orphism ) according to Aeschylus in a fragment of Sisyphus he is referred as Hades son instead of Zeus, which can be interpreted in various ways, either you can see Zeus and Hades as the same god or you can say Hades is his father. I usually choose the second one due to creativity purposes.

Some other of his epithets: Βρόµιος ( Bromio ), ἐρίβροµος, ἐριβρεµέτης // Λύσιος ( Liberator ), Λυσεύς, Λυαῖος // Πρωτόγονος ( Primordial / Primitive ).

His other names besides Διόνυσος ( Dionysus ), Διώνυσος that I know from memory: Ἴακχος ( Yaco ) // Ζαγρεύς ( Zagreus ) // Βάκχος ( Bacchus ) is also used as a name, more than epithet, even.

In Euripides' Bacchae, Tiresias says that Dionysus "has a part of Ares" which is reforced with the epithet Ἀρήιος used in the Orphic Hymn 30, that can be translated to "warlike" or "bellicose"; this speaks about Dionysus' most violent side, his furious and vindictive one. Because fun fact!! he's not- a quirky modern character figure, he's an ancient god that has a violent side like any other, but similar to Ares, for example, it shows more. A LOT more than people think.

He's usually asocciated with the following animals: bull ( Euripides ), snake and panther or lion ( the kidnapping ); In any case, he's usually described with κέρατα ( horns ) !! While it is usually not specified, due to his relationship with the bull they're probably bull horns. [ i personally associate him with a ram for creative purposes, such as being a metaphor for a leader ! ]

Last but not least: he was born from the corrupted society; you know the kind of shenanigans, the "women-slaves-and-foreigners-don't-get-the-same-rights-as-nobles-shenanigans"; history repeats itself; the very, VERY first sources we have of Dionysus' existence ( which aren't many ) list him as a god that appreciates everyone equally and welcomes them to his cult and all that thingies. You know the deal. They also got prohibitted numerous times but eh, they really couldn't suffocate them at 100% never, ever.

partially answered here but i’ll add another aspect for this ask anyway

so like i said, i genuinely think zeus is a great dad (ares is an exception to the rule). beyond that, i also think he’s an amazing king.

lots of depictions of him portray him as too horny to rule properly, but i think he’s self-critical in a good way. he can look at his mistakes and actually learn from them and improve (tho he might not admit it to others, because he’s scared of admitting fault)
