At the Midsummer Festival, Rania said that her childhood is coming to Jorvik, from NEW YORK.

Skye from the Mistfall series is also from New York.

Sooo we might actually meet Skye ingame??

My thought on the Mistfall series

It’s a hit and miss. Spoilers!

The good!

The animation. While not amazing it was still really good and got them message across.

The relationship between Blaze and Skye was really cute!

The music <3

It was on YouTube, we do like free stuff

The bad

That cliffhanger ending. Really bad place too stop, the story just started to get interesting.

The episode length, 5 -10 minutes is just too short. Each episode ended up feeling more like a scene and the whole season like one episode. Also why even make it into episode if you’re just going to clump them together anyway? I 100% feel like the series would have worked a lot better as a 1h movie.

No captions. SSO your core audience are kids, kids from more countries then USA. Kids that more likely then not ain’t fluent in English. Aren’t you still a Swedish company, how is this something that you could overlook?

Hints towards a Sky and Alonso romance. No, just no. According to Jorvikipedia Alonso is 24 during sso’s storyline, that would mean he was 21 here. Skye is 16. I am not comfortable with this.

Plot holes. Of course there are plot holes, SSO itself is a plot hole at this point.

Sam was a bad character. A grown up man with the same brain power and conflict resolving skills as a child.

It was almost funny, sometimes they remembered that Rania is blind and at other they clearly forgot about it. Her suddenly being able to see Blaze was a bold move.

Conclusion

I came into this with low expectations and I vent out of it feeling mostly nothing. It was not amazing, it was not bad; just kinda meh.

How long ago did the developers remove Rania's age from the information log? I found old screenshots and Rania's age is indicated there at 18, but now this information is not. It turns out that instead of making sure that the timeline between the game and the series is observed at the stage of developing the plot and concepts of the series, the developers simply decided to erase the information from the characters. This doesn't solve the problem: 1. Sigri could not become mayor, because according to the plot, Rania's voice was decisive. Jorvik is obviously a European country, where people get the right to vote from the age of 18. Rania in the series is 15 years old. In addition, the situation with GED pushed Sigri to participate in the elections. There is not even a hint of quarantine in the series (Skye would simply not be allowed into Dundull) 2. If the events of the series take place three years ago ... do the creators know that their character Lisa, whose songs Rania loves and which are played on the radio, did not live on Jorvik 3 years ago and did not write songs? 3. WHAT WITH ALONSO? Why is he white? The developers couldn't log into the game or use Google to see what their character looks like? Could it be another Alonso? I do not know.
