quick lil pkmn art dump! some of these are older but idrc i just miss N and all the unova mcs 💔 their designs + lore tie more into my own headcanons of the characters so dontlook at me when you open pokemon masters and hilda isn’t a hater 24/7
also redid the mistfall kids designs cuz i miss them :3 mistfall might be back…maybe . it depends how long my other hyperfixations last once more 💔💔💔💔
Commission completed for @yourfriendphoenix ! :D Characters are Riley [they/them] (belongs to ScooterVA) and Theodore [they/them] (belongs to @yourfriendphoenix)! I love Mistfall AAAAAA I MISS THEM ALL SO MUCH AAAAA SOBS I love the gay people...
Replaying some of the Mistfall stuff today on my alt account :^)
The Mistfall quests are actually quite fun. I love Rania and her mother, they're such fun NPCs I think. The questline raises important questions and issues. Very close to how our world works, I'm afraid.
Did anyone else ship these two or was i just too yuripilled

So I decided to take a stroll around places in SSO I haven't been to in a long time. Went to Mistfall and then Wildwoods. I didn't meet a SINGLE person in there, like the game felt completely dead. It was peaceful in a way, but also really depressing? I know that these two areas have never been very crowded because there isn't much to do, but still... It just felt extremely weird, liminal even. But at least I reminded myself how beautiful these two areas actually are. I feel like the "new" graphics work much better in these two enviroments (as an example), because they were created with the intention of using this visual language from the start, unlike Silverglade for example.
I also got a bit nostalgic for quarantine SSO (as bad as it sounds lol). I feel like the game was really thriving back then. Generally speaking, I just had an awesome time in the community at the time. It was probably also the last time I actually enjoyed the game and wasn't pissed about every other thing SSO does.
That was a bit of a TED talk.
