Shout out to the 2003 Matoran and the Mistika for being the only full, 6-set lines to include more than one female character. Granted it's still only 2 each, but that's double the typical amount, so we'll take it.

Av-Matoran: Kirop, Radiak, & Gavla.
Masks designed by Rothanak, printed & painted by Buryu. Articulated hand from MegawillbotDesigns.
I felt like Gavla's weapons were too monstrous looking for an Av-Matoran, so I went with Kopaka's skis instead. I think they work well enough; both weapons are hooked at the end, and the jagged suspension of the ski sorta matches the inner ridges of the Carapar claw. But this made me feel weirdly obligated to change the weapons on the other two. 🫠
You can't see it, but Radiak has two Technic pins attached to his jetpack, bringing his part count to 16 pieces.
ULTIMATE IGNIKA
toa mistika.. drawing bionicle is just as fun as building it..
Decided to compile all the Makuta mistika in one post as well. Hope y'all enjoy
"Sprits of the Air"
As Matoro's sacrifice saved the universe, he used the power of the Kanohi Ignika to send his friends to the place he knew they needed most to be -- the gates of Artahka, where the Toa Nuva had just arrived... alongside Takanuva, now at the end of his interdimensional journeys. There, the old friends celebrated Matoro's victory and mourned the death of their comrade... but not for long, as the brotherhood of Makuta had already launched their attack on Karda Nui. Realizing it was time to pass the mantle of hero on to their old matoran wards, the Toa Nuva returned to Metru Nui to stand guard in Takanuva's place... but not before Gali returned their original masks, recovered from the ruins of Karzahni. Equipping the Toa with new adaptive armor, Artahka teleported the team to the core of the universe, ready to awaken the Great Spirit Mata Nui.
An alternate take on the 2008 Toa Team, based on a fan theory that the Toa Inika/Mahri were meant to continue into that year, but were replaced by the Toa Nuva late in development. In this timeline, Takanuva took Matoro's spot in the team and fought alongside the Phantoka as co-leader of the team, protecting his old av-matoran friends while Jaller lead the Mistika down into the swamp of secrets.
A COLLECTION OF MELUS! So Melu's my SelfMOC, one of them anyways. He's a Le-Matoran who becomes a Toa. A while back I decided to do designs of what Melu would look like in different Matoran and Toa Builds, and decided recently to update them.
MATORAN
TOA
I'm really happy with how all of these came out looking, especially the Hordika and Mistika builds for the Toa, and the Mahri and Shadow Matoran builds for the Matoran.
Here's the originals if you wanted to see them. I didn't have the AV-Matoran, Shadow Matoran, Phantoka, or Mistika builds with them tho. Some of them really only changed in terms of color. Originally I made them trying to stick to the OG Melu's color scheme and placement, but when I went back and updated them I decided to try and emulate the original color aesthetics of the builds they're based on.
you know what would be awesome with DR‘s 1 season/2 halved with set waves thing?
a Phantoka/Mistika style season, where one part is focused on one half of the ninja team and the second on the other
