antis are so funny to me cuz they're like "THEY ARE A CHILD AND A GROWN UP ADULT" and then it's 2 fucking tennagers with a 3 year gap 🥀 it's even funnier when the characters are like 17y and 18y and and then they're acting like there's a problem
but beeing serious rn guy, call mistrish, giomis or leopika pedoship is so dumb you are just trivializing what actual pedophilia is bro
Mista's transfem awakening due to the bodyswap is Mistrish to me. I think Mista is more butch and wouldn't change gender presentation much in general but Trish would like dressing her girlfriend up in cute outfits.
Out of the general gang she and Mista are probably the most aware of general pop culture stuff, and can bond over that.
I make everyone watch movies with Mista but it still applies here, I think. They should watch Bringing Up Baby, Fumis (and Futrish) lend themselves well to screwball I think.
I could see them getting together pretty recently post-canon and it not working out. I could also see them being together longer in the future, regardless of this.
Mistrish to me in some capacity would want to be normal, just a bit. Not enough that they'd change anything or aren't happy with their lives, but enough that it would haunt them when they're at home in bed and it's quiet.
They cannot get a dog, neither of them have time for a dog. Mista is the closest thing either of them will get to having a dog.
They both travel often (for work or depending on Trish's post-canon job hers could just be for fun), but not always together. Trish goes on more trips for leisure's sake.
I could see them getting engaged and committing in some capacity but not getting married, really.
They should call each other at inconvenient times and just pick up and carry on like normal. Mista is about to shoot a guy point blank but he picks up the call and chats with his girlfriend. It works weirdly well for intimidation.
OH sorry lmao i meant "them" as in your ships :D or the Ominous Creature. take your pick
Yeahh I probably should have waited till a decent hour to answer the original ask lmao- I think I had posted about Dracula and Frankenstein so recently that I was like "what if it's about those and I answer for JJBA like an idiot" slkjdfs-
I'm just going to answer this for JJBA because that's mainly what I talk about (and basically my personality at this point), but I swear I do have other interests.
To be honest, I like most ships. I am very easy to sell on something so aside from a few I dislike, I'm up for anything. That being said, my favorite JJBA ships are mostly any combination of Fugo, Mista, Giorno, and Trish. This got long fast, so everything is under the read more!
Fumis (or sexhaze, as I will insist on calling them because it's the better name) is probably at the top of the list right now. Their dynamic is special to me and I get very emotional imagining them post-canon.
As far as headcanons go, I like the idea of Mista showing Fugo movies. If Superbad came out a few years earlier, I can see them watching it, and Fugo getting the brilliant idea to change his name to a mononym.
I think they would cook for each other, but not at the same time. Both because two people doing stuff in the kitchen is a nightmare, and because the ways they cook are very different. I have a post I'll make eventually about cooking headcanons for everyone, but I think Fugo would be very precise with recipes to the point of getting pissed off when something calls for "one medium onion" or "add salt to taste" because that could mean anything. Mista on the other hand, is doing it based on vibes. I think he grew up learning family recipes that have never been written down. He's a good cook, but nothing comes out the same way twice, and his success rate is like 80%.
I think they could cohabitate provided that they move into a new place together. Fugo is neurotic about his stuff specifically in my mind, so if Mista moved into a place Fugo had been living for years, dealing with the shift from everything being "his" space to there being communal spaces would be hard. If it was like that from the get-go, though, he'd be fine.
They are different varieties of conspiracy theorist, to me. I have whole AUs about this concept, but to throw it in here: Fugo is the type to double down because he's so sure he's right. Usually, he is, but I like to think he has something he's just very, very wrong about (like Robin not thinking the North Pole is real in HIMYM). Mista is the type of guy to accept the possibility of cryptids and aliens and the like, even if he doesn't believe in them necessarily.
I have a whole post about them getting older, so I will just say I need them to grow old together. It's so important to me. I need to make a better post about this at some point.
Also, angst with their Stands. It's hard for me to imagine a situation where they do talk about it, but if they did, I think it's interesting. I've posted about it here (some of the phrasing bothers me in this post but whatever-) I think it's so interesting that Mista's Stand is the bullets in the gun, basically branding him as a killer, and he treats the bullets like his kids and separate individuals from himself. And Fugo, whose Stand represents the worst parts of himself and how he views himself, so he just never lets it out. The difference in how they'd see them and talk about them is really interesting, even though both basically serve the one purpose abilities-wise.
Futrish (spice haze...) is also up there. It was one of the first Vento Aureo ships I got attached to, and I care about them a lot.
They're one of the only ships I just want to be happy sometimes. Like, when I get further down on this list you'll see that I love making these fuckers miserable. I am usually nice to Futrish, though.
I think that they have a lot in common, and it would show more if they actually got the chance to sit down and talk normally. Maybe they both like math, or the same music, or maybe their talking styles just match well.
I think he's soft on her but not to a degree he doesn't act like himself- They both have a blunt sense of humor.
Fugo dresses somewhat practically in the cold- Even if every layer has holes in it, he's still layering up- whereas Trish dresses with the fashion in mind first. Italy does not get very cold, but if they were somewhere colder, Fugo would get a lot of "I told you so's" in, and she would borrow his scarf.
I can see them both getting a lil crush during canon, but not having the time to even think about it because so much is happening. Trish especially is going through a lot. Fugo is also probably just being stubborn about it because he's embarrassed she used his jacket as a handkerchief.
Fugio (golden haze... purple experience...) used to be pretty big for me. I haven't thought about them much as of late, but I do quite like them.
The contrast between them is very appealing. There is the life/death aspect with their stands as well as with their personalities being sort of inverted- Fugo is dead inside while being very expressive and Giorno isn't expressive while feeling things very strongly.
PHF Fugio is the most problematic JJBA ship and people should talk about this more- I say this with love, as someone who finds the dynamic in the novel interesting. It's just also very different from canon and also not the one I use in my own post canon headcanons and musings. But Giorno is very manipulative and it's really fun to play around with.
While Fugo isn't charismatic like Giorno, I don't think he's socially incompetent. I think he's observant, and notices patterns more than he understands social situations intuitively- In case of Fugio, this is to Fugo's advantage. I think Giorno has a very carefully curated image of himsef that he presents to people. That is an image that he doesn't want people to see through unless he lets them himself (Diavolo parallel). Fugo would be able to notice cracks in that facade specifically because he's neurotic and looking for patterns.
I also think that Giorno could have a calming effect on Fugo's demeanor in general.
I don't really subscribe to the idea that Fugo is inherently more flawed with Giorno in a way that needs to be fixed by Giorno like he's some kind of manic pixie dream girl- I think they both have issues and can help each other with them. Giorno deserves to yell and scream about everything that happened to him and Fugo needs to calm down sometimes. Just because Giorno doesn't outwardly show any of his issues doesn't mean he doesn't have them. Again, they can help each other.
I don't think Giorno can do math, or at least not on the level of mafia finances (he is not actually going to school), so he needs Fugo to handle the books for the most part. I don't think Fugo would volunteer to tutor him; it didn't end well last time he tried to do that. He would explain things though- He woudn't think Giorno is stupid for it (and I don't think he thought Narancia was stupid either).
Giotrish (spicy experience... golden girls!!) is my big one for not letting them catch a break... you'll see.
My main Giotrish AU is called the Giotrish Divorce AU for a reason... I really like making them toxic as hell. I don't necessarily think that's the only possibility, but it's fun for me.
I just think Giorno's brand of ego and how cold Trish is (when she's being defensive in particular) could clash in really fun (for me, not so much for them) ways.
I do think that Giorno learning to be vulnerable with Trish would be sweet, though. I love that Trish finds strength in being soft through her Stand and I think that leading to Giorno being more open with her could be really nice.
They would wear matching outfits, or even each other's clothes provided that Giorno doesn't start getting Jonathan levels of buff when he gets older.
They've got a lot in common as well. While Fugio is fun for me because of the contrast, these two have a lot of similarities. They both have the pink going on colors-wise, they're the closest in age (twins, even!), and they're both emotionally guarded even if for different reasons. I think them being so similar is why I tend to make them not work out in a lot of AUs- They wouldn't necessarily help each other with these things. That's not to say they couldn't, I just tend to put them in those scenarios.
And if you don't like the Giomis or Mistrish age gaps, just stop here 'cause they're next-
Giomis (sex experience) is popular enough that I don't know if there's much I can really add to the table with them. I'll give it a shot.
The age gap is funny to me more than anything else because the idea that Giorno is the one without power in this dynamic makes me giggle- The mafia boss with one of the most powerful Stands vs his bodyguard (18 years old).
I think that Giorno needs him in some way, even if a bodyguard is sort of vestigial for him. He needs Mista more than he needs a guy with a gun.
Mista cooks for Giorno and Giorno appreciates it because he was never taken care of like that, especially not out of love. Even when his stepdad was threatened by the mafia to feed him et cetera, it wasn't out of love. Giorno can cook for himself and Mista knows that, so it's not out of obligation.
Mista likes to talk and Giorno likes to listen as well, if their stands are anything to go by
Mistrish (sex girl or spice pistols) is last, but certainly not least. They're very important to me and very underrated.
Bodyswap episode transfem Mista awakening lives in my head rent free (this fic is likely to blame- Not a ship but if this concept appeals to you at all I wholeheartedly recommend).
Mistrish, like Fumis, make me incredibly emotional to think about post-canon. For them, it's everything they can't have.
I don't think either of them are settle down and have kids people, but I think they would want to be. I think the fact that they couldn't would make it all that much more appealing- Mista for mafia reasons and Trish for the same, or because she's busy with an unrelated career.
I don't think that Trish would escape all mafia involvement. I could see her doing intel gathering work- the kind of thing that fits with her job. She's going to parties with all these high-profile people, might as well get some intel. That could always go wrong, though. So Mista teaches her to shoot, just in case. If he ever sees her need to use it though? He'd feel like he failed. The last job he got from Bucciarati was to protect her, and look at her now...
They’d be so bad at long distance. They’re rich they can afford plane tickets, if they miss each other too much while Trish is travelling, or touring or what have you, Mista can afford to fly out there easily. They’re so bad at long distance.
