NaraGio for a friend >:3
Small naragio 5am realization/analysis. I am probably just spitting nonsense, but whatever.
I've always wondered why was Giorno so protective of Narancia, and I refused to believe in the idea that he was downplaying him like everyone else. If anything, Giorno has always been supportive of Narancia and paid respect to his strength and intelligence. Without Narancia's help, Squalo and Tiziano would have gotten rid of Giorno, and he knew that.
I was rewatching everyone's backstories and I've noticed something interesting: every single person in the gang has committed a crime, aside from one specific member. Abbacchio indirectly got his colleague killed, Fugo killed his abuser, Bucciarati killed two men to protect his father, Mista killed a man to protect a helpless woman. You could argue that my reasoning stands for everybody - Trish included - considering they all had a reason for what they did, but... Narancia is innocent. He got framed, he never committed a crime before he joined Passione.
Narancia is the "innocent" Giorno wants to protect. He's the absolute symbol of what Giorno fights for, that's why Giorno seemed so attached and moved by his death.
