National Kissing Day: Send a 💓 if you’d like a kiss from my muse.
Kisame flusters a little. “What, you want me to jump for it?” He has a feeling if he goes for the mask Kushimaru will gut him where he stands, but more than that he wouldn’t do that to a comrade for a silly festivity like this. Instead he stands on his toes, places a hand on Kushimaru’s shoulder to force him down the rest of the way, and makes a quick kiss at the very top of the teal marking on his mask. It’s a little chillier than he expected. “That counts, right?” He jokes, because his own jaw is still sore.
“Hello, Mistssartor,” she said and put on her Hokage hat, “Or should I call you Kushimaru-san? I’ve been looking for you~!”
☠ ✗
✗: something my muse hates or gets angry about
Kisame’s a fairly laid back, level headed person overall, it generally takes a lot to get him angry. He can weather even hurtful insults with a shrug or a laugh, depending on how they’re said. But the one thing that he cannot handle at all is being repeatedly disrespected and treated rudely, or someone he cares about being disrespected or treated rudely. Once someone passes what he’s willing to tolerate, he tends to lose his temper, viciously. At the very least, remember his name or acknowledge who he is you green jumpsuit wearing jerk.
☠: my muse’s biggest fear
Kisame’s greatest fear is that he, as a person, is fundamentally incompatible with his idealized world of peace and truth. That, should against all odds he and The Masked Man be successful in creating a new world, Kisame will not be able to exist as a part of it. That everything that has happened to him and everything he has done in the Bloody Mist has ruined him. That he’s just another mindless, wounded monster unleashed upon the world like so many of his comrades. That the urge for bloodshed and violence that seems to permeate his thoughts cannot be unjoined from him. That how easily he lies to everyone cannot be undone, he can never be a good person, he’ll never be fit to live in a better world and all that will be left for him is to be put down like a sick dog so everyone else will be safe from him.
The fear never leaves him, it’s always there at the back of his thoughts, even as he desperately hopes and whispers to himself ‘I am human, I can be a good man’, the fear always answers, ‘You are just a beast’.
@mistssartor Continued from “Stop pinning this on me! You started it!”
“A joke?” He barks back, bristling with clear offense. “That was what you call a joke? You know, just because it made you laugh doesn’t mean it was funny!”
He has to keep slowing his walking to match his pace with Kushimaru’s injured hobbling. Which is unusual for Kisame: the other man’s strides are nearly double his on a good day. He’s not unscathed either, gnashing his teeth as he tries to work out several inches of wire-thread that are lodged into the meat of his arm and refuse to come loose. Kisame’s reminded of trying to yank a barbed hook stuck down a fish’s throat.
At the mention of the Mizukage, he blanches, his cringe intensifying further.
“Hey, Kuriarare.” He flashes the man an almost pleading look with all the dignity of a kid caught out past curfew. “...Do we... have to tell the Mizukage?”

Devil On Your Body
Kushimaru has to have some kinda shit-eating grin under that mask because they’re on what some people call the bad side of town, though Zabuza says that’s the whole damn country, anyway it’s closer to his house and the bastard had just told him about the stockings he’s wearing under the usual Swordsman uniform. Like Zabuza needs another reason to watch those long legs when he moves, shit. It’s not that he hates being teased, at least not like this, not from Kushimaru. It’s that he never planned on taking the bastard to his own house, but it’s the closest place they could fuck from here. He really doesn’t feel like heading across town for someplace decent and the motels around here are riddled with parasites.
HC + money or bad habit
%99 of the time he only ever has exactly as much as he needs, exactly as much as necessary. Zabuza doesn’t spend money on himself other than that. He stockpiles money in secret locations and saves as much as he can, behavior learned from spending much of his life in abject poverty.
He has also spent much of his life in conditions where starvation was either likely or imminent and he lives on only as much food as he needs to keep going. The bad habit is that he binge eats. Every now and then for no apparent reason Zabuza does something like going out and eating 300 pancakes in a sitting. It’s not always the same food and almost never the same place.
