i’ve been replaying Lost Odyssey, i never finished the game, but i know somethings about the endgame. i’m finally dead set on finishing it atleast 80%, but let me tell you how i wish Jansen had more love-how any of the characters need more love. Jansen has such an intriguing role in the game from what i know, i’ve heard he’s labeled as “comedic relief”, but he’s so much more than that, i honestly believe that out of all the characers, the mortals have the most character development while the immortals just have forgotten memories- personally, out of the three mortals, i think that Tolten, Mack, and Jansen have the most development- Being ranked as Jansen, Tolten, and Mack. Cooke and Sed feel like they’ve stayed generally the same throughout, but Jansen would have to be first. his backround is such a mystery, there’s nothing really that you could plainly see- only speculation, could he have been an orphan only to be picked up by gongora? (a theory of mine that i’ve always loved) could it be that he’s just doing this as a job? and how was Jansen and Gongora so close that the magic contract over Jansen was basically Gongora’s ‘Plan B’. there’s so much, and he’s honestly my most favorite character with how easily he’s fleshed out as a character. each character has a special place in my heart, especially the original three (kaim, seth, jansen) but it’s the relationship between Jansen and Ming that really butters my bread roll. i mean, how could you not root for them? and it’s one of my best ships to ever have sailed.
I Think I get a do over. A long time ago I did this game, but I only had one pair of googly eyes. Now I get to do all three! Yay for progress!
